10 Red Mangrove Propagules (Seedpods)

the seed pods arrived right on time an in great condition. i recied about 5 or 6 extra pods whih was great. its been about two weeks so far and all of them are growing nice roots. i have a few partially submerged in an aquarium sand mixture under a light fixture with some T5 bulb. about 8 or so are floating in styrofoam blocks in my 180 gal aquatium, and 3 are submerged in a 10 gal aquarium and growing slowly which is what i want. a few also have some little leaves coming in as well. this order also came with instructions for those that need it. all in all id order more in fact ill put my order in next week!

Most were drying up or already dead. Maybe 1 out of the ten is shown signs of survival but we will see.

I ordered mine in March and FINALLY have leaves. I'll attach a picture to show the growth. Root growth is fantastic but leaf growth will be slow, I have three that still do not have leaves. This is NOT a quality issue, mangroves grow painfully slow. I got way more than 10, I think closer to 20 and have only thrown out maybe 3 that didn't root and rotted. I grow these in the filter of my saltwater tank for nitrate export and they seem to help some. If you want to grow them for the beautiful roots, good luck and be VERY patient.

Only one did t make it. They are growing roots and one is growing leaves.

The propagules were successfully delivered to Alaska in the middle of winter complete with a heating pack. Only one out of the 20 I ordered didn't make it and the rest are growing great under t5s in saltwater. I'll definitely be ordering from the Mangrove Project again when I need to setup another refugium.

more than 50 % die !

Moldy and dead in days...never took in my aquarium...killed some of my fish. Buyer beware!

2 came brown and dead the rest had all broken roots from shipping roots were all broken in the the wrapped paper towel. and the 2 that had small leaves have brown holes on them . Not expecting much from these 😕 2 stars for fast shipping
