Must-have detail trimmer—so handy, effective, easy to use and affordable!!
I grabbed this Remington trimmer on a whim, and it’s become a staple in my grooming kit. It’s super gentle but gets the job done fast—no tugging, no irritation, and zero nicks. It’s perfect for nose, ears, eyebrows—basically everything. The grip is comfy, it’s easy to clean with just a quick rinse, and the battery lasts ages. Affordable, reliable, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

Quiet
Works great! I turned 50 a few months ago, and as most men know, you atart growing little hairs in undesirable places. This little trimmer is sharp and cuts low to the skin. You can use it anywhere and it doesn't leave and trace.

One of the few Nose Trimmers that work
If you are reading this review, then you have probably searched the world over attempting to find a Nose Trimmer that actually works. I have tried several. I used the metal manual trimmer that was of good quality and worked but did not completely remove hair in spots no matter what the angle. I used powered trimmers like Panasonic, and it worked well seemingly but still would leave hairs in certain spots. Most the time I would use trimmers to get center of target then use other trimmers and scissors to get sides. Even then, it seemed impossible to get targeted effectiveness. If you are slightly OCD, then this could drive you crazy. The Remington Trimmer is solid in the hand but has a unique trimmer head. A person can angle the trimmer in a manner to get the center and sides to near perfection. Now, the trimmer will cut the hair close but it is not completely skin close. Nevertheless, it will be effective for a week or so. After use, the user will rarely if ever see sole hairs left behind unlike the metal manual version or Panasonic. The trimmer will need cleaning then I recommend placing a small single drop of oil after washing and run the blade. Make sure you elevate the head away from the trimmer during washing with the push of you thumb. You turn the bottom base clockwise to turn on. Occasionally, the trimmer may seem stuck or not work, simply use your thumb and separate the head from the unit and turn on.I have the product 5 stars because in comparison, it works. It is not high end and may not last longer than a year. But it works. And if needed, I would purchase another because these units are relatively inexpensive.

Blade orientation makes this hard to use
I find the blade orientation hard to use. My previous trimmer had the blade inline with the case/housing while this one has two blades perpendicular to the housing. It's much harder to drag across the skin where you want it to go. It's well made and the handle is comfortable but it's just too hard to actually get it to cut where you want.

I like the narrow design of the nose trimmer, but there is a learning curve while using it.
Why do women's nose trimmers look like a drill bit, are too bulky, and barely cut nose hairs? Quite by accident, I discovered a YouTube video that showed a woman teaching others how to use this Remington Nose, Ear & Detail Trimmer with CleanBoost Technology marketed for men. I was intrigued by its narrow, two-bladed design and decided to order one. It's nice it comes with an AA battery, so I did not have to bother with charging it. The unit is well-oiled and recommended to keep it in good operating capacity. The Use and Care Guide is pretty lengthy but understandable. There are many details when and how to use the adjustable comb for bushy eyebrows, but there are none for how to best use the nose trimmer. You pretty much have to figure it out on your own. They should include a demo video on the product page. There's a definite learning curve. Because I'm righthanded, it was easier for me to trim my left nostril. My right one was more difficult to figure out. Once I was satisfactorily done, I pressed the blue CleanBoost handle to open the trimmer blades for a more complete rinse under running water.I doubt I'll ever use the round ear trimmer that looks like my old nose trimmer. The same goes for the small attachment comb.Regardless, I still think it was worth it to purchase this product even if I only use the nose trimmer. Its narrow design for men is good for women to use, too.
