We followed the directions exactly like they were printed, and we looked at the videos! The bottom panel, where the L brackets where are the Pistons struts screw onto came out uneven so I had to get a piece of 3/8 inch plywood to fur it out to make it even so the L bracket for the Pistons struts would work! We also watched the videos that you scanned with your camera and when they put the L brackets in, they didn’t show a close-up as a matter of fact the Installer got in the way on one side you couldn’t even see it! If I had to do over with, I’d spend twice the money and buy one made in America! But after taking apart a couple of times and lots of frustration, we got it to work luckily, I am a retired construction superintendent so I did some alterations and made it work! The picture on the left was what it was supposed to be the picture on the right is what it turned out to be. Then we took it apart and rebuild it three times flipping panels and it still didn’t make a difference those bottom panels or the wrong size. That’s when I made alterations to make it work..

bought this Murphy bed quickly for an overnight guest, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The build feels sturdy and well-made, and the comfort was definitely a plus — my guest slept great! Delivery was also sooner than expected, which was a huge help given the short notice. Overall, a great purchase and I’m very happy with it.

Instructions: 3/10 very poor. Each step has a QR code to watch a video, but the video is too far away. Many parts were not labeled. It was like solving a puzzle to find the correct parts. Functionality: 8/10 easily opens and closes. Sturdiness: 1/10 I’m using a 8” foam mattress and the wooden slats in this bed are not strong enough to hold a 140 lb person sitting down normally without flexing into finished portion (that is the front facade when closed). The front facade is not a single piece. It’s comprised of about 15 flimsy pieces laterally connected. One of the connecting pieces on the front facade broke on the second day of use. I would be shocked if this could safely hold 600 pounds. Definitely not with a foam mattress. Would likely perform better with a traditional mattress.
