Surprisingly quiet. Starts easy. Had problem with auto choke on remote but Firman customers service was excellent. Not only did they provide the broken part but threw in a cover. Great generator.

The reason I am giving this product a "1" rating is becuase there is no rating that is lower. I have had nothing but problems with this generator and efforts to contact Firman to help with problem resolution have been almost impossible. Received the unit in mid June, 2020 after approximately 3 weeks delay in shipping. I planned to use the generator as power for my RV. The RV is off grid (no electricity). It would not power the micro wave or a small electric fire place heater and certainly not an AC unit. I decided to use it to power our well pump. It worked for about two weeks then failed at that. After about two weeks, the remote start feature stopped working. After several attempts to contact Firman customer service, they gave me the name of a service center. The service center did an evaluation, determined what parts were needed and they attemped contact with Firman. They too had difficulty. After several weeks they finally shipped the needed part. The service center replaced the part, then found the battery was bad. The battery was shipped and received in about 10 days. After installing the battery, the remote start feature still will not work. It is now late September. I am still working to get problems resolved, however I am not hopeful.

Customer service is horrible!! Haven’t even had the thing for a year and mine and my grandfathers broke down and they refuse to replace fix or even follow thru with what they said

Great product for the price! It was delivered to my door within a week and undamaged. It weighed about 125 pounds with packaging included. What I really liked was the instructions. They were really easy to read and led me on how to ready it for use. You have to take off 2 small brackets and add the handle on the front. Next, connect the battery cables up to the battery, add the provided oil and your own gas. Follow the instructions on how to start the generator and remember to use the choke. Finally, after about 30 minutes running, I added a load (electric kettle). This is where you need to know where the choke is as I had to tweak it a bit from it's off position. I haven't used it out of necessity yet, but I'm sure it will work just fine! It was $680 total shipped! Love that deal! I don't have power outages often where I live, I just want a back-up for the few times a year that it does occur! That's why I feel $680 is definitely worth what I need for my own circumstances. (Oh! It comes with a remote start too!) But I like the electric start. And yes, you can pull start it if the battery is dead.

Great value. Minimal set up up of the wheel kit is all that was required. Added fuel and oil and it fire up on first turn. Tested voltage and ran some tools. All good.

DONT. Know.yet. It is on standby ...check weekly.at times hard to start..eventually it will run. No issues after startup

Product took a while to come. Had to prompt Amazon twice to get delivery. The 240/120 volt plug only works for 240 which forced me to buy a 120RV plug to power my inverter charger. Otherwise it starts and runs well.
