Are the rotor blades powered? Or is it just sounds and lights?

The rotor blades only spin manually, lights & sound have a button and need 2xAA batteries, fun helicopter for young ones but I ended up taking out the batteries due to a little cross wire fault in the one I got and sounds ended up constantly on, I think I was just unlucky as another one worked well.

Where do you put batteries please!??

We found a screw under the front rotor blades. It took us a while to find it too.
