Flowmaster Flow FX Chambered Muffler – 2.50" Offset In / 2.50" Center Out

Good quality, but a lot quieter than I was hoping. 5.7L straight pipe to muffler. Had a deep sound but doesn't get any louder even at high RPMs. Cut it off and installed a 40 series.

I used this for a custom high clearance exhaust I built for my GX470. It’s a universal fit muffler. It’s high quality steel. My tires are louder than the exhaust. It flows better than factory as my exhaust is much shorter now. There’s no annoying rasp or drone at highway speeds.

Very good quality muffler. The inlet and outlet are both female 2.5, sorry if my terminology is off but you can slide your typical 2.5 right inside either end. It came wrapped in bubblewrap and there was only a very small ding that may have even been intentional. It sounds quiet in terms of other modified cars, but much much MUCH better than stock. It has the low pitched Subaru growl but won't turn necks which is what I was looking for. To my surprise it sounds more pronounced at idle and 2-3k rpm than 5-7k rpm. Also something I haven't seen anyone mention in reviews is its effect on performance, I've noticed a considerable amount of throttle response and acceleration. It's not like you're going to get 1 second off your 0-60 but it seriously improves the fun factor of my car . I was really surprised after-all its only $40. Highly recommended this muffler is such a steal for the money. No idea why its so cheap but I love it.

I see a LOT of reviews about this muffler being TOO quiet.....Yea....maybe inside the vehicle but thats what you want for the most part. Its okay to hear a little rumble but i want to listen to my jams over the muffler sometimes, This muffler is perfect for my application being in NY state and their nazi laws for modifying vehicles. I am absolutely thrilled with this muffler its a great flow through design the packing does a great job and after about 1500 miles it has gotten a little bit louder. I was looking for reduced flow restriction for a full 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back. This fit the bill. I like the growl it allows. I dont hear much of a drone but if you check youtube theres a way you can stop drone at certain rpm ranges it will help you kill it off for good. This product was used in conjunction with a resonator on a 2004 corolla 6 speed standard.

These are very nice for the money. Actually to quiet, but they work.

My son’s jeep liberty muffler went to crap and I wanted a budget alternative to the beastly oem one. This is only a little louder and straight through. Cut the oem flange off used a stainless 2.5 extension and some band clamps with copper rtv and good to go. Got only a little louder after a couple hundred miles. Would buy again. Well constructed for the cost and stainless. So far has picked up some mpg from the built in display as well.

Excellent price, good looking product, sounds perfect. Always loved Flowmaster, had some original 40's but wanted something a bit quieter, these were exactly what I was looking for. Edit: So after running these mufflers for a little over four months, they definitely have gotten louder as I kinda thought they might. Which is a bit disappointing because I loved the sound straight out of the box but that's glass pack mufflers I suppose. Still a decent muffler for a hundred bucks.

J’ai installer ceci sur un Crown Victoria 2009 avec Cata delete ! Pour remplacer mes muffleurs qui c’était défait de l’intérieur et WoW le sons était parfais ! Maudit beau sons sourds et agressif qui fait ressortir la belle sonorité du V8 ! Belle qualité et durable ! Je vais asseiller de retrouver un vidéo!

La verdad tiene un sonido agradable si lo que buscas es que no sea escandaloso,a mi gusto y lo que esperaba era que el sonido fuera un poco mas agresivo,espero que con el uso el sonido mejore porque èste modelo es de fibra(no como los demas modelo que son de laberinto),cabe señalar que lo puse con tuberia de 21/2 y en una cherokee xj 2000
