Wheel Brightz Lightweight LED Bicycle Safety Light Accessory White

Everything works great, except for the fact that I have a relatively large steel mount for my rear wheel brake. So the battery pack mount slightly - very, very slightly - grazes the steel mount for the brake. The friction is fractions of a millimeter, and has only caused a very slight abrasion on the battery pack mount surface. This has turned out to not be a problem at all, even at speeds above 45 km/h which I occassionally bike at. Just remember to check and tighten all the battery pack screws after every trip - they do become a bit unwound with distance, on both wheels. Other than that, the product works amazingly well and is extremely cool. :D

Definitely a great value for the safety you get to be identified at night

These things are seriously cool - don't have an awesome photo of them yet, but I plan to update. They look amazing, and I get compliments all the time, but they also really work to light up the bike at dusk/night. You won't be able to use them instead of a headlight (to see the road ahead of you) but they do make you insanely visible and they light up the road underneath/around you. I love them in the white against my blue deepdish wheel rims - I think another color would look a but silly. The white against blue looks sharp as hell. I bet a colored light with a different combo rim would look rad though.

Ordered a set of white Brightz lights for my bike. Order was delivered quickly and well packaged. Took about an hour to install. Front wheel went much faster than back once I figured out placement of battery pack. Process was slightly harder than normal as I have front and rear disc brakes that I had tow work around. Initially only one wheel would light, but I replaced batteries and got the second one to work. The problem I have is that even though I ordered 2 white lights, one of them is definitely a blueish hue. Box says white, but looking at both there is a distinct difference. Not a huge deal, but I would like to have matching lights since that is what I purchased. All in all an OK product. Probably would not order again or recommend to friends since there appears to be some QC issues. If I had gotten 2 matching lights, I would likely rate 4-5 stars.

Going for a family bicycle ride at night now has a new meaning, it's a lot of fun and the kids love it. This is a nice motivation to get out of the house and spend some time together. Installation takes a little bit to get used to but it's not a big deal, since I purchased in different colors for all 5 bicycles in the house I was able to get enough practice. Delivery was on time and the packaging was appropriate. In order to save money in the long run I put rechargeable batteries on them.
