Works for me, nope it doesn’t
Out of the box it makes a good hot cup of coffee in under a minute. The sleek design takes up little room on the counter, it has an easy to fill reservoir and shuts off automatically. In spite of others poor reviews I am quite happy with this product This is an addendum to my yesterday’s high praises for this coffee maker, I am returning this because after 4 brews it no longer works. It just has to work longer than 2 days,I so disappointed

Confusing at first but now easy to use, buy the right refillable cups
We have had a boring black Keurig. It looked kinda chubby and bloated, so, while there was nothing technically wrong with it, I figured I'd replace it with this cuter, take up way less space model. And no regrets! All I miss is the hum, HUM, hum of the old one, to be honest. We always had to fill the old one before using it; the reservoir wasn't all that big. So this seems perfect. But the instructions only talked about first time set-up, not daily use. We have the refillable metal cup. We dump and refill that between cups, and the second cup wasn't working. First, it was because we weren't waiting long enough. We didn't know the noises and lights and delay and stuff. Now we have the hang of that. But it does require a minimum of 6 oz of water to run at all, and that is apparently more weak than I like my coffee. I am used to stopping the coffee filling with a pretty small cup. More like espresso strength, I guess. It won't run at all with too little water. UPDATE: My husband had a steep learning curve with this machine. He is using it incorrectly. He gets frustrated and does all the wrong things. I just spent some time with him and here's where he goes wrong. 1. Does not add enough water. The light will flash a bit and then quit if you put in too little water. 2. Gets impatient and turns the power on and off. As a top reviewer pointed out, you need a little over a minute before it starts brewing. 3. Adds more water after turning it off too early. He hears it making weird noises and turns off the power button. If the lights are on or the machine is making noise, it is working. If neither is happening, you likely didn't add enough water, and now you are in a bit of a mess. In the case of not adding enough water, it seems like the water moves down from the filling reservoir and down into some kind of a heating area. You're now going to have to add more - probably at least 6 ounces, which is likely way more than you want or you'll get weak coffee - AND stay close and monitor the situation. It's important to let all the water drain out or you will leave the next person in line in trouble. Which brings me to: 4. He turns the machine off when his cup is filled to is liking. No no no! Do not ever do this. You can open the lid to pause it and take out the coffee pod if you like, and then get another cup under there and let the rest of the water drain out! You must clear it every time or the next person will wind up with an overflowing coffee mess. Because I live with him, I never leave it unattended just in case he did this. Another recent learning on this is which refillable cups to get. I had a few different brands, but the Keurig compatible ones are the way to go, and this Amazon listing also has great reviews with videos that helped me understand how to use them. These don't do scary clicking in. They are brilliant. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086L7WS44/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sleek, quick, and easy
My (very) old basic no-frills Keurig was working fine until someone else used it to make coffee around New Year's, and suddenly it would not automatically shut off. I tried some troubleshooting maneuvers (cleaning, de-scaling, button-pushing), but no luck. I know I got my money's worth out of it. So I decided to retire it and again ordered the new single-serve very basic model. It's slimmer and sleeker, and easier to use than the old one. I ordered the dark green one (TBH I think I was just tired of black appliances) and a quick rummage found a green mug to go with. I don't drink coffee; I mainly use it to give me hot water, and I add the tea after (and this being Florida, there are only maybe 7 days a year that are cold enough to warrant drinking a hot bev). I rarely use the pod holder. It's adorable and actually takes up a little less room than the old one. It's very quick and quiet, works great. Only thing I don't like is that the cord is very short, maybe a foot shorter than the old one. So I have to use an extension cord, which I'm really not happy about. But I'm not really up to rearranging the furniture.

Bad out of the factory.
I hope you'll take the time to read this one star review because it is not coming from a place of anger and is written by someone who is very confident that they know how to operate simple home appliances. Where I work, we have a larger Keurig brewer that gets daily use from at least five people, typically in rapid succession and sometimes multiple times per person. With that in mind, I considered Keurig to be a producer of reliable single serve coffee machines. I purchased this item in December of 2023 and it started getting used on Christmas day. I appreciate an 8oz cup of coffee, and was pleased to see that it happily brews up an 8oz cup of coffee with no complaint. All is well with the world. My wife, who would prefer a cup of stronger coffee, wanted to try it out at its minimum water level of 6oz. The reservoir emptied, but it refused to brew. Well, as much as that sucks, we figured that there may just be a design oversight where it *has* to be exactly 6oz of water, and maybe we were just under that somehow. I added a few more ounces of water and got it to actually brew. I suggested always making sure it was over the 6oz line, and that seemed to be the solution. In April of 2024, we hit a snag - it wouldn't brew an 8oz cup of coffee. I tried giving it a few more ounces and it once again did brew that cup of coffee, albeit weaker than intended. I chalked it up to maybe having mismeasured the cup. Now here we are in June of 2024. It once again would not brew an 8oz cup of coffee. No amount of additional water given to it would make it brew the coffee. The instruction manual says to hold the button for 5 seconds to purge the water that is currently in it, but it would do no such thing. Eventually, it did brew the water it had in it after I turned the entire machine off and back on, presumably resetting its software... But after getting 12oz of water out of it and pouring it down the sink, the next 8oz cup... Wouldn't brew. I added more water and for the first time ever, found that water was somehow leaking out of the bottom. Where did it come from? Who knows. I cleaned up and took the entire thing to the sink, pouring out what was in the reservoir and trying to see if I could shake more water out of wherever this mystery puddle had come from. There was the obvious sloshing sound of water coming from inside the machine, presumably in whatever little heating chamber it has in there, but shake as I might, I could not get the water to leave that heating chamber. So, one K-cup gone to waste and no coffee made. A shame. I did not successfully brew a cup of coffee after that. I re-read the instruction manual to see if there is something I missed, but no. We have used only filtered water in this machine, pulled through a Zero Water filter, so there is almost no chance that something is clogged or scaled, and I have no intention of purchasing Keurig's overpriced bottles of lemon juice to attempt to descale the machine. I have not yet sought remediation through Keurig, but I intend to. Regardless of the outcome, it won't change my review of this machine because I have read the one and two star reviews and see that this is a common problem. If Keurig honors their one year warranty and sends me a replacement machine at no cost to me, then what I can say is that Keurig is a company with standards and integrity, but it won't change my opinion that there is something built to fail about this particular model. If they do not honor that warranty, my opinion of Keurig will be at rock bottom and I will find other ways to make my $60 "investment" serve me. As an aside, it baffles me that there is a "minimum" amount of water that a coffee machine will take. I understand that inevitably, some small portion of water boiled is lost as steam, but you have to cook water for a long time to lose an appreciable amount. As someone entirely unfamiliar with the mechanisms at work inside this brewer, I think it may be suffering from being overcomplicated. It shouldn't care how much water it has in it - it should simply dispense hot water. Based on sound alone, these machines have a pump that ejects the water, so it doesn't seem to rely on the steam to force the water out. No one wants to spend 80 cents to over a dollar on a K-cup to get two drips of coffee, the user is not going to sabotage themselves with less water.

Compact, colorful, and a smarter reservoir design
I’ve been using this Keurig for about two months now, and I’m really happy with it. I actually purchased another model first and returned it because I preferred the reservoir design on this one. The water reservoir sits inside the back of the machine instead of being more exposed. For me, that was a big selling point because it helps keep the water area cleaner and gives me less concern about mold developing over time. It’s also compact, so it doesn’t take up much counter space, and the vibrant color gives my kitchen a nice pop without being overwhelming. After two months of regular use, it has been reliable, easy to use, and simple to maintain. If you’re looking for a smaller Keurig and you care about keeping the reservoir area clean, this is definitely a design worth considering.

Good looking compact travel Keurig K cup maker.
I like the narrower footprint and the choice of colors of the Keurig Mini. It is excellent for me when I travel, it fits neatly in my suitcase and the Starbucks K cups are available wherever I travel even if I forget to pack them. I have had a problem though after just a few days of use. I was aware from earlier models (used various Keurig machines for more than 10-15 years) that they can clog from small grinds. We have been careful not to leave the expended K cups in the machine for more than 20 or 30 seconds. We also saw problems with communally used machines on our company power boat. Other users were not rinsing cups before reuse, getting some bottom of the cup grinds in the water heating reservoir, and clogging the hot water tube ( I disassembled last years model when it failed after a few months). Sadly the new Keurig is choking up after 4 days of use with Starbucks Pikes Place medium. It starts fine fills 1/4 and stops. I reset and again stops at 1/4 more, so I repeat two more times and get a 90% cup. I am traveling so the post Mortem will have to wait a few days. The reservoir looks clean, the piercing nozzle looks clear, the used K cups looks normal.

DON'T PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS
I really like my personal K-mini Keurig. It makes the perfect size cup and It is very simple to use. I take it out each time, run a plain water cycle to flush out the residual coffee or sugar, wipe it down and put it back. That might sound like a lot, but I work efficiently and smart not hard. And it does take a significant time to warm up and I am waiting for my coffee, but if we brew a pot, ....we would wait. Go to Starbucks, it takes time -- even if you use the app, you take time to drive or walk in! So complaining about it taking long to warm up is unreasonable. I set it up, check my email and return to a perfect cup of coffee about 3 minutes later. If the parts were breaking (as in some reviews), then I'd be upset, but so far so good for me. All the parts seem to be holding up just fine. It does feel a little delicate, but I won't be taking it on my dirt bike for a joy ride, and the covers, lids and latches still seem to be lining up perfectly. The min-max fill lines totally prevent accidents and overflows. And I love that it automatically shuts off. I will be posting pics asap. Before I purchased this, I read many controversial reviews. I took a chance. I use one of the empty purple refillable pods to run a clean water cycle. Then I take a clean paper towel to dry out the little water reservoir. I use that wet towel to wipe down the splashes on the back and the drips on the tray and the catch, then throw the towel away and return my K-mini to the storage bag. I keep my tiny K-mini in a large laundry garment bag to allow ventilation and to keep the critters out! I would not mind sharing at all, if the environment allowed and/or coworkers were just a little more hygienic. I work in an area where the larger Keurig is infested with house geckos and bugs floating in the water reservoir and people leave their used (hot chocolate, latte) pods in the machine which attract more critters... or food crumbs might be too. Sometimes, a water-bloated gecko is trapped in the reservoir and even if the bin is washed, who really wants to enjoy a cup of coffee, thinking how it has defecated all night long within that bin -- I guess the water attracts them? Then roaches and tiny little ants can be found when no one has used it over the weekend. So, I bought this K-mini and do not share it with others. I will offer a cup of coffee to my coworkers. I will even make it for them. But I use it. I clean and dry it. I put it away in an area that I try to keep clean. I have others things in life to worry about. I no longer worry about a fresh, clean cup of coffee, and I certainly do not mind the opportunity-cost of a smidgen more effort in exchange for peace of mind.

Product does not work in the UK!
This product is supplied with a USA electrical plug, operates on 120V (USA) and cannot operate on the UK electrical voltage - 240V. When I plugged it in, the appliance fused. I now notice all the negative reviews for the same reason. It is absurd for Amazon to be selling the product to the UK market when it does not work in the UK.
