Four decades in the making, it's the crossover that fans have demanded! Kirk, Spock, and Autobots! Decepticons and Klingons! Optimus Prime and the Prime Directive! When Kirk, Spock, and the entire crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise investigate problems at a remote mine, they're met with an explosive battle between powerful warriors who change into vehicles from the 20th century! As the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rages, it's up to Kirk to decide--does he violate the Prime Directive and interfere in a war that's raged for millennia? And how will the Klingons complicate the issue? It's cartoony fun between two of the most popular science fiction franchises in the world! Transformers Hall of Famer John Barber and the world's most prolific Star Trek comics writer, Mike Johnson , team up with artists Philip Murphy and Jack Lawrence to tell an adventure that could only appear in comics! Review: Pure fun. - Never would I have expected such a great combination such as Star Trek and the Transformers but they meld together flawlessly. The story is fairly simple and straightforward which is nice. Too many times these crossovers try to over indulge with their concept. The story is basically the Decpticons are attacking a human settlement and the Enterprise and her crew show up to help the settlers. The Autobots awaken and team up with Kirk and Crew to defend against the diabolical Decipticons who have also gained new allies in the warrior race of the Klingon Empire. As my title to this post proclaims, it is all just pure fun. Review: Fun story! - As a fan of both Star Trek and Transformers, I have been waiting for this for some time since I had first heard about it. And, what fun it was when it finally arrived! Well written. Whoever wrote this really did their homework and knew all the characters and everything! If you enjoy TOS Trek and G1 Transformers, you can't go wrong here.

Survivors and Federation
I love it! I have always wondered what would happen when the Star Trek universe merges with the Transformers universe. After reading the whole comic series, I can only wish and hope that a new season Star Trek vs The Transformers comes out. It would be awesome if the Autobots joined forces with United Federation of Planets.

Transformers Star Trek cartoon review
This was a pretty funny I like how the cartoons kind of matchup in the way maybe because they're both between the 70s and 80s and I kind of hope it continues I'd love to see how the Federation be at the Next Generation or not can handle Unicron

Could be better
I grade the book "C"- sufficient to make it worth reading, but with signs of laziness on the artist and writer's part, which hurt their work in my eyes. It could've and should've been better. Warning: Spoilers. The writer has the Transformers leave Earth during the Eugenics Wars and then have their ships crash onto the planet Kirk investigates centuries later, but none of the Starfleet officers recognize the Transformers or their technology when the latter awake from stasis. There's no mention of a conspiracy and subsequent cover-up to hide evidence of human encounters with Cybertron during the 20th century (which would make no sense, as humanity would need such info to defend itself in case Earth is embroiled in another war with such aliens), or of the Transformer ships crossing a dimensional barrier and finding themselves in an alternate universe where humanity never encountered their race. The artist designed a repaired Fortress Maximus (renamed "Fortress Tiberius," after Capt. Kirk's middle name) who transforms into a Constitution class starship, but didn't do the same for a repaired Trypticon, meaning the latter doesn't have any "kibble" on him to indicate he transforms into a Klingon battlecruiser. There are also scaling problems, i.e., the fact Fortress Maximus and Trypticon's new vehicle modes are significantly smaller than the Titans' fortress modes.

Fun Read
All I can say is Tiberius Maximus rocks! Good story layout and plot. You might think it starts slow but buckle up by the end.

Tolles Cross-Over Comic

When Decepticons get Cloaking Tech?!
AWESOME! Plain and simple. The book itself is crisp and bright. The story...well I could NOT put it down! I was sucked in as if it was an actual TOS Star Trek episode! I LOVED it! And recommend it for ALL TOS Star Trek fans. After all, what would happen if the Decepticons got a hold of cloaking Tech?!

Live long Autobots…and roll out
It’s difficult not to love a crossover from these two massive science fiction franchises. Yes, it ticks all the boxes that would expect and it is a fairly simple plot structured around the Decepticons attempting to steal a supply of energy, which they spent doing most of the time on Earth in the eighties cartoon. However, it is also what you would want as a fan and as a one-off crossover it gets it exactly right. This is a compendium into a graphic novel style format of the comic series that started being released in the latter part of 2018. Amongst others (some from the cartoon series), all the main figures from the original Star Trek are present and receive a reasonable slice of the action. Obviously, Spock and Scotty with their particular skillsets are a better match for meeting giant robots that convert into vehicles, so they have more interaction with the Autobots than say, McCoy (whose minor interaction with Ratchet is still thoroughly entertaining). The relationship between Captain Kirk and Optimus Prime is probably the most the most satisfying as it emphasises the similarities between the morals and leadership styles of the two. With the modus operandi of the Enterprise being based upon exploration it makes more sense for its crew to come across the Transformers as if it is the Transformers who have crossed over into their universe rather than the other way around. It also makes more sense story-wise for the Enterprise crew to try and fathom out what type of lifeform they have encountered. The Transformers who appear are generally those you would expect, in being those from early Generation 1. However, a few later ones appear and, interestingly, so does Acidstorm who began life in the eighties cartoon as a recoloured Seeker used to swell the Decepticon ranks onscreen. The storyline means that Prime is somewhat subdued for a fair portion of it. Furthermore, Megatron isn’t, perhaps, as prominent as you might expect. As he often does, it is Starscream who ‘steals the show’. The usual betrayals and machinations are all present and there’s a certain delight in seeing him proclaim himself emperor of the Klingons. As the Star Trek element is primarily that of the animated seventies series, the artwork of the two franchises blends together well. There are a few full page pictures that, oddly, seem to have no bearing upon the plot of the comic strip. They appear to be scenes that within the context of the story you can’t see how they would have come to pass. But their inclusion is a nice bonus. Overall, this is a good representation of both franchises that successfully captures the gist of each in a satisfying way that fans will enjoy.
