Used these last weekend and they were able to support my weight (200 lbs) easily. Cleared out a big nasty cedar with the help of these.

Well it's a step. Soooo. But the good thing about these in particular is that they are easy to start and screw in good. Get em. I use them to keep on me for emergency steps to screw in should I need to do so when getting out of a jam should I fall from my climber stand and be left hanging in my harness too low to climb up easily

These are the standard size steps and they are solid and work great

Sometimes they are hard to get started. Screwing in without a harness is tough to get started, since you're holding on to one and trying to screw in the next one with your other hand. Other than that, they worked great for me.

Its great! I predrilled the holes a little (i dont reccomend if you arnt familiar with the proper way to size and depth for a screw). I bought several and intend to buy more to get even higher in my tree! There are probably cheaper ways to get up a tree though.

Used these as hangers for my firearm and my backpack on a bear hunt. Easily started and screwed in to a juniper tree, and held well. My hunting partner weighs 260 pounds, and he used them as climbing steps during an elk hunt. Easily started and screwed in to a spruce tree, and held him without issues.

Lost a lot of confidence after I had 3 break off leaving the threaded end in the tree. I’m 190lbs. Thought they where rated for more then that. Thank god they where the lowest 3 pegs. Still never a fun way to start a hunt.

There are great if you have a pre drilled hole but don't even think about trying to start them into an oak tree or any hardwood tree without pre drilling. The threading on the tips is to flat and just doesn't bite enough to get started on it's own unless it is a pine or another soft wood.

Perfect, easy to install didn’t bend under my weight and gear (around 250lb). Not slippery with wet and muddy boots.

They work and they're a decent price for what you get. I left mine for 3-4 months in a tree where I hunt, I went to get them the other day and they still look new. One or two had a touch of rust on the threads, but the coating is quite durable. Recommended.
