The media could not be loaded. Made well and painted well. Made out of plastic. Not very heavy. Lifelike , nice for decoration. I put it in a box for now, but may put in terrarium. This platter puss is very cute. Will buy another one for a friend and other animals from this company. good value.

What’s not to love about a platypus?! My grandson collects wildlife figure from all destinations and he was thrilled with this Australian favorite! It is small, but Really cute ! So happy I could find him one!

On time damage free

My 5 year old LOVES this! It's about 3" long, but is very realisitic looking. Looks exactly like the picture and is solid. He won't leave it alone. It has survived being thrown on the roof, swimming and as much play time as is possible in the past 2 weeks since we've had it.

My son loves animals, especially the odd ones. Thankfully Safari Ltd makes toys of most of these obscure creatures to keep my son's mind and imagination happy. The detail is fantastic, as usual. It is a little bit smaller than I had hoped, but still a nice figure!

Suprisingly on-model for the platypus, well painted, well sculpted with no misalignments. The belly is even painted with a slightly shiny paint in an attempt to emulate wet platypus fur. Highly Reccomended for platypus enthusiasts. Would make a good instructional model for primary school science teachers, as it so accurately captures the platypus nature.

I got this as a little gift for my boyfriend as we've had numerous conversations around platypi (platypusses?). It fits discreetly on his desk at work but is big enough for him to notice throughout the day. It is nicely detailed and is an excellent finished quality.
