Scott Pilgrim Color Collection Slipcase Set

What can I say about Scott Pilgrim that hasn't been said because of the movie and game? First off, the pacing is nice and it's not an annoying romance where it's too quick or not fun, relatable enough and it really catches your attention fast. Second, the idea is already intriguing but the presentation, other adaptations and art really sells on how good an idea it is. Third, the characters and ideas are very cool with their own unique moments to shine, my personal favorite being how the 7th Evil Ex-boyfriend is taken down in the comic specifically and it really makes me excited for the upcoming anime with the movie cast. A great series that sticks with you till the end (first romance I intentionally checked out too) and definitely worth the cult-following praise it's gotten!

As fan of movie I wanted get book series if I knew what I know now I would have maybe bought manga version set color omnibus box set is good if you don’t want have many little manga books but books are terrible made pages are coming off binding this set is brand new wrapped in plastic very disappointing getting omnibus set like this pages are bigger and in color but quality of books are terrible if you are looking complete set of books it’s weird it’s released in black and white manga format reading from right from to left., But this box set reads ordinary books left to righ I’m not sure what this series is aimed for American readers for color editions of books or Japan readers with smaller manga versions made of better quality of books cover of books are nice you can see covers of each book on bottom of box where UPC code is in picture I provided if your looking for buy completed set in color and you have money to spend use that money for hardcover books these are soft cover books I bought this set expecting some extras with this box set there is none for this retail price of 89.99. You have money spend buy complete hard cover versions , if you want to save money look for manga versions spend almost half price what you will find on Amazon and eBay prices that’s my review on this box set is good to have for complete collection of series yes it is for price quality of books are made suck and are terrible

I never got around to buying the black-and-white or the color hardcover version, so I leapt to pre-order this new set. They are beautiful editions of the book, and the softcover description doesn't really do them justice - the quality of the books, the paper, and the slipcover are all extremely high, and the Honest Ed's packaging is really great. It's true, they don't come with the making-of stuff, but I suppose I wasn't really worried about that either way, as I own the digital version which include that material. If you want that stuff, Kindle has the color editions pretty cheap, so you can read them on your iPad. This set was exactly what I wanted!

different versions of scott pilgrim have been released throughout the years, and they all have these different covers. i really like these ones!! the case for the books is also really cool!!

I was surprised with the condition the book collection came in! I’m a big Scott Pilgrim fan so it blew me away by how good the product quality was! All three books were nicely in the proper sleeve with no damage. The price was a steal and I could not resist purchasing this collection!

A pretty good story about a bunch of young adult jerks learning to be less of jerks. It has references to video games if you want to pretend to be a nerd. Read this if you like the movie, or even before you see the movie if you have a passing interest. In terms of buying this through amazon, the books are pretty heavy and the box physically is pretty flimsy, and will likely have at least some form of damage when it comes in. Even after returning a badly bent box and getting a new one, still got some bent corners. Keep that in mind if it's being ordered as a gift.

Delivered quickly (before the delivery window!) and was packaged securely. This was a gift for my youngest daughter and she absolutely loved it. Couldn’t have been happier with this purchase.

Scott Pilgrim quickly became a cult classic, being the perfect blend of a slice-of-life portrayal of a generation and a fantasy action story, influenced by shonen manga, fighting video games and the music scene it is set in. This may be its definitive edition, in three books instead of six, but bigger size, coloured and in a nice box set

I always wanted to pick up the colour edition of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel, and it did not disappoint! It's been a absolute blas looking back at this awesome graphic novel! So recommend picking up this collection if you are a fan of Scott Pilgrim!

TLDR: There was slight damage from shipping and the manufacturer. Others had the same experience with this. But, it is in decent condition and I'm a big fan, having spent years looking for a collection like this. It was on sale so I'll look past it. I am just happy I finally have the books. Maybe don't buy at full price because of common cases of it being damaged from shipping. Finally! After 10 years I found an affordable collection of these books in South Africa. This edition comes with all 6 books, collected in 3 volumes, with 2 books each. It also has the remastered artwork for early volumes, all in full colour! I'm glad the sleeve I received features 2 unique designs on the front and back. (Not the ' Honest Ed's ' box featured on the store page, which I wasn't a fan of.) If you don't know what edition to get, this is the best value for your money. It doesn't feature the bonus art and extras from other editions, but it's bigger, and you'll be able to read the entire story, in colour, from start to finish. It arrived quickly and in good condition, except for a bump on one corner of the sleeve and 3rd volume. Also, one of the page corners was folded and misprinted, likely a printing mistake. (I was able to trim the excess paper off.)

Was for my Grandson for Christmas, he was over the moon with them.
