Afocal Design with a Unique Bayonet Mount - Magnifi 2 uses a low maintenance afocal design, meaning there are no extra lenses to keep clean. Magnifi 2 is a two-piece design, with the case and eyepiece adapter connected via the unique bayonet mount. To assemble, simply align the two red dots and twist clockwise. An Actual Case - Instead of using cumbersome clamps or screws to align the phone’s camera to the eyepiece, the Magnifi 2’s case is designed to fit your phone perfectly, so you can remove your phone from the case or detach the case from the eyepiece adapter without having to realign the Magnifi 2 each time. Included sizing bands sit between the Magnifi 2 and the eyepiece, allowing for a secure fit for steady, consistent photos and videos. NOTE: Magnifi 2 is compatible with eyepieces with a diameter of 1 to 1.5 inches or 25 to 38 millimeters. Works great for iPhone X photos through your microscope eyepiece
It worked very well on my iPhoneX. Great fit and the pics come out very good. Here are example pics:apatite crystal on my stereo microscopesalt crystals under polarized light on my compound microscope.Couldn't figure out how to make videos, but still satisfied

Learned that the iPhone X and Xr are not the same size
I can't wait for this company to make a frame to fit my iPhone Xr. The X model I sent didn't fit it and that was my fault. No response from them if and when they'll begin production of frames to fit the newer iPhones = boooo!
