I received the oil in an intact container and immediately tried it. Well, the odor is ok. The color is too green. The flavor was horrendous; it tasted wrong and had a bad aftertaste. First, let me explain. My parents had friends and family that would manufacture olive oil. Also, some of our friends own small olivet in Sicily and make olive oil; sometimes, they sell it privately during a good season. I miss the authentic olive oil. I also understand that most manufacturers tamper with olive oil because it is impossible to sell at this great quantity and rate worldwide via Amazon. There is no such thing as authentic anymore. What's wrong with this particular oil? It is too green, almost artificial green possible added a colorant? Or different type of olives? Or it is as new oil? The taste is sour. The odor is ok although it is too strong. I do not trust the olive oil.
