Impressive
This is a high quality product that is accurate and easy to use. The fact that the meter is made in England resulted in a well written instruction booklet and not a fractured English translation. It only takes seconds to test a capacitor. The ESR feature is the soul of the product. The cap may still test good, but the ESR will warn you if its future is limited. That will save you a lot of time and work.

Never worry about the state of a capacitor again
I was unsure about purchasing this ESR meter. Its price was a little high and with a few pieces of test equipment you can basically do the same type of check on a capacitor. I did however purchase this item and I was glad that I did. All the necessary setup work and math are all encapsulated in one package. Simple turn the unit on and you are ready to go. I have used this in troubleshooting capacitors in a cement mixer as well as all of the capacitors in my Commodore 64 and Atari 2600. It really is a nice to have tool in your arsenal. The build quality is good, as well as the battery life, speed and functionality. There is somewhere buried in another amazon review a 3D print file for a stand that I found to be very useful.

Worth it’s weight…
This little meter kicks ass! Ease of use and accuracy. Well worth it!

Almost perfect
Works as advertised, but I wish it had couple more things that would make it perfect. 1. A flip-up flap on the back to be able to put it upright. I know it’s not that simple because the leads are coming out from the bottom. But I had to 3D print my own stand for it. Magnet would be a good idea so it can be attached to a metal surface. 2. A good/bad indicator of some sort. An LED maybe. The leads are long and not Everyone has eye sight to read at a distance. Especially when wearing a magnifying glasses or using a microscope and need glasses to read from from arm length. 3. Wire management or make leads removable. 4. Second set of tips for SMD testing.

Works great. No need to remove for testing.
Works perfectly with in place capacitors. Best refurbishing tool for my tool box.

Great tool
Great tool and reads close to a bench top machine and price reflects it quality.

Works very well
Kind of the repair guys industry standard. I should have bought one years ago.

Remember to calibrate before use
I was initially skeptical about the accuracy of the capacitance reading after measuring a few capacitors I have laying around. There is a youtube video out there though where someone compares this against a couple of other reputable measurement devices with favorable results. I did realize there is a calibration procedure as well so I'm more of a believer now. The leads are smaller than I thought but that's ok because I have very small components to measure on some circuit boards. I should be able to take the clips off and poke with the ends of the leads well enough. I always start my meter and tool searches for used, not "made in China" stuff so I was happy to see this was new and made in the UK.
