This book is lovely! Cy Twomblys work is so beautiful, filled with energy and immediacy, colour and reference! It's very lush.

It took many years for me to come to understand the greatness of Twombly. When I first encountered his work I dismissed it as ugly scribbles. But now I know better. This book went a long way toward helping me to understand his greatness. A fine overview of his career, and reasonably affordable. If you're on the fence about appreciation of Twombly's work this book could very well make a believer of you.

When I first got the book I had to put it away for fear I would be overly influenced in my own work. A month later, I can handle it. His work is SOMETHING!

A great overview of Cy Twombly and his work. Excellent color reproductions. One of my favorites in my Art book collection.

After flipping through this book you will have such an appreciation for the great work of Cy Twombly you'll want to go out and buy two or three of his paintings for your house. This is a great comprehensive book covering the lifetime of his work, from his simple early million dollar drawings to his later simple million dollar paintings.

Love this artists work. Didnt have as many images as other books but enjoyed the writing.
