I could just say "this is awesome, buy it"
One of those rare occasions that I'm eve vaguely tempted to post a review of a product. I could just say "this is awesome, buy it", but I will elaborate. Let me explain ... I have an old LP by Mountain that says "Play this record at high volume for maximum sonority". I played it loud and it sounded good, but I always wondered what sonority was, Google search gives me "the relative loudness of a speech sound". Not quite sure that hits the spot, but I get the idea. Not all music has to be loud to enjoy it. Now, 40-odd years on, I still like rock and metal, but listen to loads of other stuff as well, classics, pop etc So, I bought this little bluetooth speaker to connect to my Echo Dot and take my sounds that I stream around the house, kitchen, bathroom, wherever in range etc. At best I was expecting sound quality poorer than the Dot, at worst it would sound like one of those miniature transistor radios from the 1970's. First off, connecting to Dot is a cinch - just use the Android or iOS app to pair it - as expected. Now, here's where JBL have smashed it ... this little fella is small enough to not reveal those limitations, but makes the very best of what comes into it. The sound is nothing like what I expected. Considering that I'm streaming music off the internet through a tiny speaker, I'm completely blown away. Streaming through my hi-fi amp or my Bose soundbar sounds good, but they both reveal the limitations of the low bit-rate. I have an Amazon Echo too, that's OK - but you can't pair it with bluetooth speakers. You have to listen to believe it. Imagine a little box less than 8.5 cm x 7.5 cm, just over 3.0 cm deep. I chuckled when I saw the dimensions, I read the reviews and thought ... well it's only £25, it's JBL, let's try it. You can hold it in your hand after all. Now, I can't verify this 100% yet, but it also seems to be able to control your Amazon Dot when you're out of voice range (I wrapped in a towel), can pair with your phone, has two way communications etc. Plus on-off, bluetooth, volume +/- and phone buttons and a phono input. So far, I'm totally happy with bluetooth connection to Dot. So, as I was about to say before I wrote this ... just buy it, you can't go wrong

Wonderful little speaker
Love it, tiny with quite a bit of umpf, not too much as it wont be able to cope but if you dont need anything super clear on very high volume than that would be perfect. I use it at work and it does a great job for smallish room at medium volume. Had it few years now and very happy with it. Only thing I would prefer the speaker to have is the level of battery life so i wont suddenly get a red light and it'll switch off soon after.

Good little speaker.
Really good sounding speaker, not heavy on the bass but not lacking either, place the unit in a corner or with its back panel about 1-2cm away from the wall and you get a nice balance of bass mid and top end, battery lasts well but keep in mind if you have it turned up near its max volume level for long periods it will drink the battery in a few hours if you are using Bluetooth for connectivity instead of a cable, it's a dinky little unit but packs quite a punch for its size. Longer battery life would always be a plus with products like this but what you get here is a good quality speaker that sounds great, works well, looks good, I shall be purchasing another to make a matching stereo pair.

A solid speaker for small spaces with high durability and decent battery life.
There are a few things you want in a Bluetooth speaker, sound quality, battery life, connectivity and durability. I'll start off the positives. The JBL go speaker is lightweight, compact (8cm x 6.5cm x 3cm) and feels tough like you could throw it in your backpack and not worry about it getting damaged whatsoever. The speaker comes with a 30cm USB cable which is used to charge the device. The connectivity is moderate, it copes well at a distance (such as a long corridor) but as soon as there are walls, the connection drops. The sound quality varies; the bass is very poor but it produces decent quality sound at lower volumes. At highest volumes, you really start to hear the crackle of a speaker beyond its limits. The battery life again is good, lasting for several hours before needing to recharge. It can also be used whilst plugged in. Negatives include a low maximum sound. I bought this speaker to play light background music during the fitness class I run in a medium sized hall however the sound produced in that scenario just wasn't enough so we had to upgrade to something larger. (Probably expecting too much from this little speaker in hindsight. Overall, it is better than a built-in speaker in a mobile device but is not capable of producing loud enough sounds for large spaces or groups.

Excellent Product
This is a great little speaker. It's very small but puts out really good sound. It pairs easily, and I've been very impressed with the ease and sound quality when taking phone calls. Somehow, I was able to buy it for £14.99, but it would be worth the extra £9 it's currently selling for. I'm still on the first battery charge, but it seems to hold a charge well and topped up quickly out of the box. If you're looking for a quality mini bluetooth speaker at a decent price, I would highly recommend the JBL Go Ultra.

Perfect Product! Brilliant value!
This is a fantastic product. It’s small and light and easy to use. I was worried that it wouldn’t let out enough sound, especially considering it’s size. But it is more than loud enough to bring some atmosphere to a small gathering or picnic. It looks sleek and due to its small size very easy to pop in your bag! I can only award maximum stars!

Bestest of all. No one will regret having these cool and awesome portable speakers. great sound with portability. Easy and fast connectivity via Bluetooth. Ordered these after reading hundreds of reviews. And I am fully satisfied. Too small with boom sound. That's what I liked the most. Don't think twice. Just buy twice Too much light weight. Easy to carry and the battery life is also more then said. Most important is the charging speed. It got charged in less then one and half hours. If you can keep it as PRECIOUS thing, they will last longer I bet. I know there are lot of other Portable speakers but these are the greatest. Just go with the best suitable color you like. At the mic point of view, its cool. We can use the mic just fine in 1-2 meter radius.
