What is the difference between the 18-van, the15-van and the 12-vanspray nozzles?

The distance they throw at 30PSI. The 18VAN is designed to throw around 18 feet with water pressure of 30 PSI. 15VAN throws 15', etc.

is this standard 1/2 inch pipe?

The nozzle will thread directly into male threaded pop-up spray bodies like Hunter and Rain Bird. If you want to thread them onto 1/2" threads (on a riser for example) then you simply use a "Shrub Adapter". Thank you

Is this authentic Rainbird or another company making it?

When purchased from us, we sell ONLY authentic OEM Rain Bird parts. Other sellers may or may not.

Do these support adjusting the degrees of the spray, from 0deg up, and screw on top to adjust distance of spray, from inches up to 12feet?

They have an adjustable arc (0-360°). The radius can be reduced up to about 20% of the maximum distance. It can be reduced more but it wont reliably stay at the desired radius.
