Great product, for those who do not understand: Prop65 does NOT indicated there is actual lead in any product, it only warns based on a very broad sampling or past histories of other similar ingredients whether it is present. For this product, simply because it has a high amount of ginger, the Prop65 label comes into affect, not actually because they did a study on this product and found lead. Keep in mind that the label would apply to even organic dried ginger simply because of the concentration of ginger.

I bought a bag of this Ginger People Crystallized Ginger Candy, 3.5 Ounce. This stuff is so dangerously yummy! I love traditional Crystallized Ginger. You know, the sliced version that's always kind of hard and fibrous to chew. I saw that these are more of a cube shape, so I decided to give them a try. OH MY, MY! These are so moist and so delicious, with the crystallized outside and a moist inside. I have never had any Ginger like this before. It was very difficult for me to put the bag down! I ended up eating the entire bag in just 2 days, all by myself! Now the bag I consumed is a very small bag, of just 3.5 oz. Way to easy to gobble up in even just 1 sitting. It totally leaves you wanting more, at least it did for me. Now I hve ordered a few more bags and am anxiously awaiting their arrival. So, this is kind of expensive for the amount you get, so for me it is only a special treat. A treat that I am NOT sharing! I'm super happy with this delicious Crystallized Ginger from the Ginger People!

They're very tasty and aren't hard, which is great. The downside is that you don't get very many for the price.

Very disappointed in this crystallized ginger. I love this type of candy but the product I received was hard and dried out, so hard the candy was un-chewable. I made a short video of metal scissors tapping one of the hard ginger chunks — so hard it made a noise. I managed to taste one piece, and it was too sweet and over-sugared. The pieces were coated in a super-sweet sugar glaze. Read other recent reviews. Very disappointed. I hope The Ginger People will improve their selection of ginger root and manufacturing process.

Very delicious. From Figi. A little on the mild side in flavor. I wish it was lower in sugar. Excellent quality, no stringy, chewy pieces, just soft, succulent ginger. For me very addictive, I could eat the whole bag at one time if I let myself.😊 Packaged well and delivered well. No complaints!

First let me say I do like the actual ginger product. It is soft, not stringy. It has no preservatives, containing only ginger and cane sugar. I usually order the 2 pound bag but it has been out of stock. I was tired of going without so I thought I'd pay the higher price to buy what was listed as 12 packs of 4 ounce bags. More plastic, but same brand I've come to trust. I really enjoy their Sushi Ginger. My local grocer carries it. Anyway, I remember doing the math and figuring I be getting 3 pounds (12 packs x 4 ounces), a complete extra pound than my usual autoship, just in little packs. On its arrival day I got a message it was delayed 2 extra days. Once it did finally show up, the box had 12 packs of 3.5 ounces, not 4 ounces. Shrinkflation. I went to my Amazon app and see the listing now says 12 packs of 3.5 ounces. It did say that when I ordered. I remember doing the math. Great product. Shady move. I've been cheated 6 ounces.

When I was a child I loved the ginger candies. My mom used to buy the soft candy and I remembered it so well. Searched everywhere for the exact soft crystallized ginger and could not find it until now. It brings back good memories and tastes GREAT!

It's yummy, but way too sweet to my taste. Won't buy it again.

Ginger is good for stomach upsets. I always take some when travelling. Chop up for stirfries or add to peanutbutter or ginger cookies. Always great quality.

They tasted a little chemically. The ones that come in a box taste better.
