I believed I purchased a "Tankard Leather Drinking Vessel Mug" but I was SORELY DISAPPOINTED! Pictured above is what I received which I staged/posed next to a standard Pint glass (16 Fluid Ounces). The "fluid" capacity of the vessel you sold is approximately 8.5 Ounces. I searched for the definition of a "Tankard" & discovered that "some" hold as much as two (2) Pints or 32 Fluid Ounces. I was anticipating carrying my/a Tankard to the Maryland Ren Fest but my Wife insisted to carry this one "would be embarrassing".In your defense however the Fluid capacity of my purchase was NEVER listed or advertised but guess what . . . I NEVER asked.

The mug is nice and the style that I was looking for.Do note that it only holds about 12oz, not 16oz (1 pint) as the description says. Also, the measurements are nowhere near correct in the description.

Cup is just as appears well made, light bees wax liner(makes mead taste even better). But unfortunately its no bigger than a coffee cup. I guess my search continues.

Not that I am used to, but it does the job I suppose. Be careful with hot teas an coffee, because the inside is covered in a rubber coat. So think of it more like a rubber cup with a leather outer shell.
