Bringing my cat back to his full health again!
Im writing this forthise who need to force feed a cat bc thats exactly what i had to buy it for.Apparently arthritis is severely overlooked in cats 7 years and older. My cat was licking constantly. No fleas. No rashes. Just licking his hair out.Apparently its a sign of pain.We took him to the vet and he said it was just nerves because of the move.... (Wrong)One day i noticed he isnt jumping up anymore. Few days later and i nltice he hasnt moved from the same apot all day.I go to pick him up and he has withered away. I could feel his tail bone. He was so weak.He hurt so much he wasnt able to jump up and get food. I didnt notice this for a couple of days!!! My boy wasnt eating. Then he became so weak that even if i put the food in front of him he refused it.If a cat goes without food for 2 or 3 days they can develop hepatic lipidosis and their liver shutdown and they die.((Dogs are the opposite and they NEED to fast for a day or so once a month optimal health))Well i youtubed how to "force feed" ... Not a whole lot of force needed as it turns out. The hardest part was holding him upright bc he was so weak. These syringes hold a little less than half a can of PATE style cat food. Which is what u need.I added two capsules of Cosequin (for arthritis) in the first few days .. Mashed it into the food.He slept for the first day and slowly came around the 2nd. I am happy to report i only had to force feed for one week with the meds and he is now back to his old self gaining weight and playing with his brothers. I now just pill him once a day for his arthritis. But if it werent for these syringes i wouldnt have been able to get him the nutrients he needed. They are the perfect size and the tip is long enough to get the food in the back of the mouth where it needs to be as well as having an opening wide enough to pass soft canned food through.

Works great!
Worked well for syringe feeding my IBD cat. He needs a daily dose of probiotics, pumpkin and some other supplements he won't allow to touch his regular food. The caps are nice to keep my slurries from leaking.

Yawn
I'm a retired nurse and I was hoping these would be hospital quality, but they aren't. One use and they are done. The rubber plunger works one time and then sticks to the inside of the syringe barrel making control impossible. You either get nothing or a giant squirt making measurements impossible.

Looks good so far
Can’t wait to use for my lip gloss line

Best dosing syringes ever!
These are by far the best quality disposable dosing syringes I have ever purchased. Most plastic syringes are only good for a couple of days, and then the plunger no longer seems to fit and must be forced/oiled into the syringe to work at all. I have had this 3 pack of syringes for over a month now and still use the first syringe, which works as well on day 30+ as it did on day one. I have an old horse who needs a small pill a day, who will absolutely not eat it in his feed or hidden in a treat. So I crush and mix with applesauce, spoon into the wide syringe, and squirt it into his mouth. No problem at all. I absolutely LOVE these! Best ever! Will (eventually!) be buying more.

Supposed to be single use, but not in my hands
I bought these because I'm on a feeding tube for a few weeks. I needed something I could wash and reuse multiple times a day. I have to dip the rubber ring in cooking oil each time before using it. They all seem to be that way.

Great for syringe-feeding rabbits (Oxbow Critical Care or Sherwood SarX)
These are great for dosing our rabbit with the amount of food we need to supplement. We use Sherwood SarX or Oxbow Critical Care made into a slurry and this syringe is big enough to hold all/most of the full dose and has a large enough tip that it comes out smoothly.Notes: These syringes can be reused several times -- probably about 10-15 times before the plunger doesn't slide easily anymore (I apply a little avocado oil to the rubber gasket when it becomes more difficult and that can give me a couple more doses).

I wanted large syringes to dose my dogs, but this is a monster horse syringe!!!

Bought to measure hair dye from professional hair dye tubes and cans
I got these to precisely decant hair dye amounts from professional hair dye tubes/cans at home. So far not used than, but it will be better than guessing amounts.

My dogs ears!
These were a perfect size for syringing my dogs ears as he had an awful infection. The one supplied by the vet was stupidly small.

Expendable
Bought to try out with resin knowing they would probably be binned after just one use - I was right! won't be doing this again!
