Great addition to my router table
Built well like most saw stop equipment, it works even better than I expected. Not one piece of dust in the box after using. The split design from the 2.5" and 4" dust collection pipe must be the trick. Bolted to my cast iron table perfectly, every bolt hole lined up with no modification, un heard of these days! Thank you Saw stop for your quality.

Did the job right
I built my own router table with underside case made of 3/4 inch birch hardwood sheets and the top with 2 3/4 inch sheets of MDF. I attached the Sawstop box using furniture screw in nuts and the provided bolts to the underside of the MDF creating an air tight surface. I have a Triton 3 1/4 hp router that fit perfectly inside the box. Hooked up all the provided dust collection fittings and hoses and using a Harbor Freight 2 hp dust collector to do the dust collection. When I tested a few pieces of wood with the router I was amazed how there was no wood chips around the fence and looking into the box I found no visible wood chips nor dust inside the box. I am very pleased with this setup. Sawstop built a great box. Assembly of the box is also very easy.

Another worthy sawstop addon
My only gripe is that the top dust collection goes tightly around the front or back of the sawstop cabinet. This makes 1 of 2 situation. You either have a bulky hose in front of the table saw that may interfere with the fence system, or it may interfere with an outfeed table, should the table extend that far over. Other than that, this down draft box works wonderful. I did test cuts and after the tests were done, I opened the door to the down draft box and it was almost completely empty.

Buy better screws
I really like that you can move where the dust port, power port and vent are mounted to either side of the box. It’s well built. Mine did have an issue with one of the panels screw holes. I had to go buy an M4 tap and chase all the holes because none of the screws would screw in. Do yourself a favor and buy better screws. I found that the grade 2 screws that the box came with super easy to strip out but I also had the damaged screw holes. General International makes this exact same box for less money but you can’t move the ports. I originally bought this box because it’s the exact same design but I returned it and bought this box because my router table is inline on my table saw and the dust port exits in the back of the box.

Really great kit, must have for any router table
Works as advertised, does a great job of pulling the dust away from the router. Goes together fairly easily and seals up against the table very well. Instructions were not included so it is good that assembly is pretty straight forward.

Mounted to a Bench Dog 40-102 Cast Iron router table
I bought this for mounting to a Bench Dog 40-102 cast iron router table that I have attached to a Sawstop PCS table saw. Shortly after I bought the Bench Dog router table, Sawstop decided to make their own cast iron router table, to which this box will mate with perfectly. Unlike the Sawstop router table which has integral threaded mounting holes specifically for this dust box, the Bench dog table has no such holes. If you have the Sawstop router table, you're all set. If you have the Bench Dog table, you'll have to make an adapter. I made mine out of rectangular aluminum bar, but it can easily be made of MDF or plywood. The dust box is made of 1/16" steel sheet, painted black, and is of very sturdy construction. I would have preferred it made of aluminum to reduce the amount of weight hanging on the router table, but that's a small detail. The only thing I would give zero stars to, is the provided assembly screws. The screws are made of a soft iron and the heads easily strip out. Even though the screws only have to work once, there's no good reason Sawstop could not have provided grade 5 or 8 screws.... especially considering the price we are paying.

Well built, ready to assemble and install
Like the rest of sawstop cast iron saws, it's designed to fit and functions well. I had no trouble with assembly. It comes with the hose to go to the router fence.
