Silicone Clip-on Strainer Colander, Plus Soup Funnel for Pan Universal Size Material/Heat Resistant

I bought these after seeing them on a list on the internet, something like "20 amazing buys on amazon for the kitchen". They were cheap enough for me to be willing to try out, but because of the price i didn't hold out much hope.The collinder works great, nice strong hold on the pan and can fit many sizes.The spout was the thing I was least confident in, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It on holds on the the pan by friction alone which I thought would not be enough. Also I expected any liquids to get underneath the spout itself and pour out the actual pan, but none of this was a problem, it worked perfectly.An added bonus is they are dishwasher safe, so cleaning can be as simple as the push of a button.Glad I tried them out and for that price I am more than happy with them.

This was mentioned in a magazine as being one of their top ten useful kitchen gadgets of the year. Whilst to be honest not all of them appealed this one did. Previously I'd avoid getting a strainer/colander out of the cupboard because often it would be a faff to clean, whether plastic or metal the holes got gummed up with starch and needed scrubbing out, putting it in the dishwasher took up too much space. This clip on strainer is easy to attach to any size pan and although the clips are necessarily stiff they are not difficult. Because it attaches to the pan you only need to use one hand for straining. The silicone makes it flexible enough to release starch particals whilst straining so if any do remain they rinse out easily. Storage is easy too and I've already used it far more than I thought because it is so easy to use and I no longer use the saucepan lid for straining which is good from a safety point of view in addition to not have to rescue pasta from the sink.The pouring funnel does not clip on, it sits on the edge and therefore is possibly better suited to pans without lips or rims such as cast iron casseroles or frying pans.

Simple little gadget I saw on social media it works really well and is a quick go to for straining out the pan. It’s strong enough for the task, you need to pop it so it bows upwards otherwise you can have stuff come over the top.Free soup pourer is a waste of time and a throw away used as value marketing item. Never needed one anyway.

This has made draining boiling water so easy and much safer, no trying to hold the lid in one hand and the pot in the other to drain stuff and saves getting out an extra draining bowl, it conforms to all different size pots then chuck it in the dishwasher when done, very pleased with it

The strainer is perfect it does the job is so good that I have added another strainer by itself. But the soup funnel is unusable. It does not stay on the pot and it does not help to guide the liquid, so it is totally useless.

Makes straining so much easier. I used to use pan lids for draining pasta, veg, etc. No more, just clip the drainer on and you’re away.Same for the lip. Makes transfering liquids spill-free.Easy to attach/detach and also easy to clean!

I’m so sad it took me so long to discover this handy little kitchen tool. Makes straining water from everything so much easier therefore cutting down cooking time and the amount of dishes used. It clips onto the side of whatever pot and you simply pour out the excess liquid and presto! Simple to use, takes up no space at all and is easy to clean. Highly recommend

Much easier to strain the pan
