I had a issue the day I unboxed my generator. I had a very difficult time getting it to run. I was not starting very easy and even when I got it to run it was running horrible. It was revving up and down wildly for no reason even without a load on it. I called customer service and reached Max (I Think). Max had me go through some trouble shooting and then had me adjust the linkage for the throttle and a couple other adjustments. Not sure why it was so far out of adjustment but with the help of Max I got it running like a top in a short amount of time over the phone. If it was adjusted correctly out of the box I would of given it 5 stars. I will say that max gave me 5 star service and was very friendly and helpful.

Awesome generator so far. Had some concerns but looked at the reviews and some youtube videos and decided to go with this one. 1st, this runs everything in my 22ft wilderness. Microwave, TV, lights and charging phones. It's not the quietest machine, but for its size it's not loud at all. We run it all night and have no problems falling asleep. It is a little heavy. I can lift it it into the back of the truck with a full gas tank. Have also ran my trailer and my brothers pop up camper at the same time no issues. Propane option is phenomenal. Though it seems to run a little harder when everything is on. Has started 1st or 2nd pull everytime.**update**Had the chance to compare to some Hondas. 2 honda 2200 i's are still a little quieter than the firman. Again comparatively. This generator is not as loud as some of the other generators in its class but I wouldnt consider this thing quiet. For the price, this generator is great though and I'm not disappointed with it one bit

Purchased for our travel trailer. I will only run on propane that’s the main reason I purchased this unit. You can carry on a regular conversation without yelling while unite is running. I would recommend.

I ordered this generator for the hurricane coming our way. Ordered Monday and received Wednesday. Setup was very easy. Add oil add fuel and we have power. Ran for 30 hours straight with no problem. Very quiet. I could not hear our generator over our neighbors 2 houses away. We used a 100 lb. Propane cylinder and did not run out of fuel.July 2019 Update; I have had the generator almost a year now. It was used 3 additional times since the hurricane. Every time I went to use it, it fired right up and worked like a charm. This has been a sound investment in a small generator. I would make sure and either store under shelter or get a cover to protect it.

Doesn’t run longer that 4 or 5 seconds and no good reason why.Update:After about 3 days of trying to get ahold of Customer support, we have a solution. Seems a voltage protection module must have been damaged during shipment. Support had me unplug the two connectors from the module and it runs fine. It’s usable and runs the entire 28ft camper, but now I’m waiting on a part to show up from the company. Still not 100% happy with the whole thing.

We ordered this generator in preparation for Hurricane Florence. Out of the box, it was easy to set up and the instructions are very straightforward. I haven't used the propane side of it, but the gas side works great and lasts over 14 hours on a full tank. Tropical Storm Michael came through last night, so I'm actually using the generator right now. I have no complaints so far. I would recommend purchasing a large 5-gallon gas can and extension cords to go along with it. I'm using a 2-gallon can, which means multiple trips to the gas station. Right now I have a deep freezer, a refrigerator, wireless router and multiple wireless devices drawing power. Highly recommended.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This generator is not what I expected. Since I got this thing the propane feature does not work at all and if I run it on gas it won't run smooth. For spending $400 I didn't expect to buy a broken generator with such low standards. On their website they claim to have 24 hour support and it's not like that. Expect their support to be during normal working hours. I'm really disappointed in this generator and I wish that I bought it local so I can take it back.

Very pleased so far with this generator. I ran it on propane for the first startup and after a few pulls was running smoothly. I did however notice some oil dripping from the exhaust system after 10-15 minutes of runtime. I am currently in contact with customer support from firman on the matter. It might be residual from manufacturing tests they run on all there equipment. Customer support, so far, has been helpful with the matter.

This is an outstanding product. Tons of power for the rating. It with operate a large air conditioning system with power to spare. The clean burning propane option is quiet, powerful and low emissions. I’d recommend it.

Nice little generator my only problem is that there is no 220 volt outlet Which cause a lot of headaches if you want to connect a transfer switch or a breaker panel.

After using twice the starter switch crapped out. Pulled it apart and moved the wires over to a second set of pole. Genny started once and the other half of the switch died. Now I wired in an actual good toggle to start it.For all the hassles it wasn't worth sending back.It actually works great on gasoline or propane.Little ticked that they put such a cheap chessy start switch on it. The rest of it seems well built.

As I have only completed a hour of testing and the gasoline and propane fueling, my full review will have to wait until the power goes out!
