Tripp Trapp Special Edition - Tripp Trapp high Chair and Baby Set in Storm Grey + Classic Cushion in Geometric Red

This is a fantastic chair that can adjust with the growth of your child over time. In terms of price however, I wish I had ordered it directly from Stokke. One of the bolts and nuts did not match and the seller took far longer to respond with extra hardware than Stokke itself.

I've got two instead of one - so I should know. I was given one as a present for our first child. Then, our second came close behind, the chair seemed good, so we decided to buy one, because in any case we would be able to use it ourselves when they grew .The good parts:- Looks great.- First quality materials. One thinks it will last forever practically unscathed if you are moderately careful.- The looks and the idea: great. To have a chair that can adapt to all ages looks like a great concept.Now for the bad part of the deal:- Wheighs a ton. It is not great to move, because it has no wheels and you have to carry it.- Difficult to move. The chair is heavy, but due to its design, it takes lots of room. So when you want to carry it to another place in your home, it is quite a challenge not to bump into other pieces of furniture.- It is hard. And getting a cushion is really difficult, because of the size and shape of the seat.- And now for the worst part: the greatest appeal of the chair is that it cannot topple. This is great with children, because they won't topple it if they move. Well - that's half the truth. When they are very small, children can be kept in place with a special piece of wood. But that will hold them only while they are tiny or their belly doesnt bulge- mine bulged a lot. BECAUSE it is untoppable, children tend to stand on it, play on the back, and the like. Because you can choose the height of the seat, you tend to rise it as much as possible, whereby rising it above a normal chair... So children will fall now and again and again from the chair, but from higher!! Mine fell from the sides, and from the back. I couldn't make dinner in peace, I always had to keep an eye on them, other wise I would hear a Bonk!! and cries.When they grew up, we tried to use it while studying, but they wouldn't adapt and we had to take them apart, and buy normal office chairs.

I always do a lot of research before making big buys, especially ones for my baby daughter and the Trip Trapp always seemed to come out top in the high chair charts. I wanted to avoid the big plastic monsters and buy something practical, comfortable, long lasting but also stylish, as I plan to use it for a long time so I wanted something easy on the eye!I'm so glad I spent the extra and bought the Trip Trapp, it's so easy to put together and looks fantastic in our dining room. My baby girl loves it, and my favourite thing about it is the height adjustment...I can see us using this chair for many many years, and judging by the quality it will probably even do for future children too. It's easy to clean, ideal for baby led weaning as I am doing, and feels safe and secure.I bought the Newborn set with mine and think it's an essential for getting the best out of the chair.Overall I'm really pleased with this high chair, I think it is really well made and a lot of thought has gone in to it, a great buy in my opinion.

This product is fab. Have used from New born to toddler to boy.... lots of my friends still sits in them as adults! Used the new born seat to start, then the harness and baby set and once big enough, without anything. Just brilliant. Never had any falls as used the adequate seat/harness. Good value even if expensive as lasts for years and years.

This chair must be used with a special belt for kids up till 3 years old. It is otherwise not safe for toddlers since they can easily climb up but then can easily fall off by sliding off on the right or left side. You basically always have to be watching your child around this chair.I have 3 kids and I've had this chair since I got it as a gift for my first child. All 3 of my kids have fallen off this chair by sliding from the sides. It's also a high chair so it's a high fall! I finally sold this chair and got a much cheaper simpeler chair which has much better side protection. This chair is popular purely because of it's looks, it's not at all practical or safe in reality.

The package was damaged when it arrived, but the product was in perfect condition (thank goodness).This chair is quite expensive, but it’s so sleek and elegant. I’m hoping it will turn out to be a long-term investment! I didn’t want the usual multi-colored, ugly looking baby chairs in my open living space.The beauty of this Stokke chair is that you can keep adjusting it as your baby grows up so that eventually, he can use it even once he is an adult. (It holds up to 300lbs.)It’s meant to be used at the dining table so your baby can join the family for meals.You need to assemble the chair yourself, which is not very easy, even with the instructions. But there are lots of videos online that show you how to do it. (I managed it alone one evening.)Apart from the price, one drawback is that each add-on part has to be purchased separately. I bought the baby-set for my infant. I bought a cushion for the baby-set, which actually is not very padded, but adds a nice touch and makes it look more like a child’s chair. I decided not to buy the tray since we use the chair at the table. I’m hoping the seller gets the harness so I can use it once baby no longer needs the baby-set.The chair is meant to be ergonomically designed so do follow the guidelines and assemble it according to your baby’s height. And do keep adjusting every few months as baby grows.I really wish there were a couple of other colors available to us for the price. I would have bought it in white or maybe even red.

Questa sedia è comodissima da usare già da quando il bambino è molto piccolo (con i vari accessori), fino a diventare un pratico sgabello anche per gli adulti. Ne ho acquistato uno a testa per le mie figlie. Hanno iniziato ad usarlo dai 2 mesi e ad oggi (5 anni) è ancora indispensabile. Pratico e stabile, facile da pulire

C'est un investissement pour la vie, comme votre petit !Je la recommande.
