desertcart.com: Demon Days [vinyl] Gorillaz: CDs & Vinyl Review: Vinyl worked great for me! - As stated online may times before (not just on the reviews) this record is notorious for skipping on some turntables due to its extremely high bass. This is without a doubt the bassiest record I own now but if you know this album (which you absolutely should, it's damn good) then you are aware of that already. The bass is rich and well defined on this record and even though I'm not really into the whole "audiophile" toxic community, I will say that it definitely sounds amazing on vinyl and better than digital in my opinion. I run an AT LP120x with a ATVM95E stylus, counterweight at 2 grams and anti-skate at 2 grams. Not a single skip anywhere on the album even on the aforementioned songs that are notorious for skipping on the harder moments. The beautiful red discs were nowhere close to being warped, though they were a bit dirty when they arrived. Nothing an anti-static vinyl brush can't fix. I am unsure why people are getting these skips but from what I was reading, it seems to just be due to the turntable itself. I'm not here to knock on any brands or players specifically, as you afford what you can afford. Just be mindful of your expectations. I'm not an expert by any means, however from what I have gathered over the years a lot of cheaper model turntables (especially ones without adjustable counterweights) may skip due to improper weight, tonearm, stylus, anti-state if they even have it, etc... There are a lot of factors in play. Of course if yours shows up warped exchange it immediately as that is unacceptable especially for the premium red vinyl price. Review: Excelente, llego tal como en la foto 📷 Se demoro un poco en procesar el pago, por lo demás muy bien

Nice packaging, but unplayable
The artwork and the cases are beautiful and the songs are amazing but there’s just a slight problem with the records... they skip. Every song skips there’s no scratches or anything it’s just a bad record and I’ll be getting a refund. This is a perfect collectible and the vinyl has a lovely red but it’s unplayable so I’ll be buying a usable record

Sealed/new
Works perfect, came relatively quick, sealed new condition.

Very nice VMP red version!
The packaging is nice, although the inner sleeves have some splitting... likely from the shipper not removing them prior to sending. Overall, these vinyl sound clean, crisp, clear, with massive dynamics and soundstage, and I’m glad to have the red VMP version as it adds a layer of “fun” to the mix. To be honest, I have a ton of Gorillaz on vinyl and it all sounds pretty awesome. They do a great job pressing and mastering their music. I am using a very hifi rig, so flaws are always very pronounced. This record is 95% flawless. Well done!

Really poor print quality
It’s really unfortunate because I’ve seen really good reviews on this vinyl, but BOTH vinyls in this pack are super poor print quality, and skip like crazy. Looking at the packaging closer, it looks like this copy may have been preowned, but I’m not sure on that, that could just be a product of the shipping and handling. Both vinyls have a VERY bad warp in them, and side D is straight up unplayable with how crazy the skipping goes. Like I said, I’m seeing really good reviews on this product, so it’s a shame I got an unlucky one… but goodness is it defective.

Gorillaz rule
This was a gift for my son’s birthday. He was thrilled. The package was delivered on time as stated.

This is a Bootleg copy as pointed out by another reviewer. Also, again pointed out by another reviewer, it is very SLIGHTLY faster than the original. But.....the vinyl is great quality and sounds absolutely top notch. Having a decent turntable which allows me to slightly tweek the rotation speed means I can play this at the correct pitch so that's not a problem. My daughter is delighted with her purchase as (being 13 years old) she was never likely to have the £500+ needed to buy an original copy. If the little discrepancies bother you so much then pay 10x more for the original.....simple as that!

VMP has some of the best releases. The original cover with the face sleeves is gorgeous. The sound is great, though I'm no audiophile just an enthusiast and appreciator. Would recommend, love this album.

This Album was bought as a Christmas present for my Granddaughter...I bought it early & am told it can’t be sent back ...the album does not play & is jumping on many of the tracks...I could not send it back earlier as it was for Christmas & I obviously did not play it before then!!!...I would like a replacment plse & I’m prepared to take it further as I have been sold faulty goods ...

I don’t know if I got a dud, I probably did but it just skips over and over again. Such a shame.

love the album. however it is in a plastic wallet, wasn't shipped very safely, and side D which contains my favourite song of the album was butchered before it even arrived it just keeps skipping. side A also has issues but its no where near as noticeable as side D. Good points are the artwork on the vinyls them self is really cool and quick shipping.
