ASTERIX ALBUM 34: ASTERIX AND OBELIX’S BIRTHDAY: THE GOLDEN BOOK

I had some difficulty receiving the book and was a little worried. However I would like to thank the A to Z Book House team for sorting this out for me immediately and as it turns out, it was not a delivery problem, It was a issue with my Mail team. I am very thankful cause now my Asterix and Obelix collection is complete. Thanks guys.

Probably, all the plots may not become a hit. This one was a little jerky in its progress, but the latter part was very good. Most of my reviews for Asterix is on 5/5, this is only 4/5.

Beware ! Album 34 of Astrix does not have any story or adventure !I have the complete collection of Astrix from Album 1 to 33. Album 34, is just a mish mash of unrelated locations, dialogues and a workbook like illustrations. There is no story. Period. Not sure what Goscinny and Uderzo tried to do here.. The only reason I have kept this book and not returned it is so that my collection is 'complete' ( along with newer Vols - 35, 36, 37 )Buy this only if you want to complete your collection. Else is a waste.

different to the usual adventures not many pages, its a much shorter story also ,however the drawings are nice quality

As always, fabulous graphics and a welcome addition to my collection...BUT... the storyline isn't great and there's an element missing. Perhaps Asterix and Obelix have reached the end of thier 'natural' lifetime.Having said that, The books never fail to entertain and are artworks in their own right.

The good condition & fast delivery. The package was good enough to hold the content. I'm happy with my purchase.
