Go for it.... nice book 📖📖

I like this book because it gives vast knowledge in Structural Geology. This book covers all concepts of structural geology and helpful in preparation for many competitive entrance examinations and also suggested for B.Sc. Geology ( Hons. ) Graduation Students.I *dislike* this book because of Black & White texts, images and chapters. The only colourful in textbook is it Covers, otherwise all B&W. This is very worst diffect in this book.The biggest Myth about this book is that, It is helpful for IIT JAM Geology MSc. Entrance Exam preparation, which is fully unacceptable. This is not that type of book, which my Rattuians classmates suggested. General book of Structural Geology by M P Billings. Haakon Fossen's book is better than this.

This is a good book eventhough it had some minor issues like1. it is black and white so you can't see pictures clearly2. It has structural geology problems with CGS system of units so students who studied SI before will find it difficult like meOther than that everything is fine...

The book is written in lucid language and full of diagrams with examples from field (like folds, joints, faults etc). Perhsphs the main purpose of the book is to present principles of structural geology.RegardsDr.S.Z.Alam

A very good book for beginners who opted geology for UG course and also very useful in clearing the concepts of structural geology for Gate exam and NET although you have to study some more structural geology books by different author's for GATE and NET but keep this book in ur bucket listNow coming to condition of the book which I received today1- the book I received seems to be used one, lot of dust patches on cover page and also bending and dent marks on upper part, dust pathces are clearly visible on both side strips...if this is new book then please clean or check before selling.

The pages and the binding of the book came really good.
