Not effective. Sugar in fact shot up.
My sugar levels in fact shot up after taking these capsules. The product has not been evaluated by FDA. These capsules are not available in Sri Lanka from where the raw material itself is supposed to be sourced. Try your luck if it suits you.

This is real Ceylon cinnamon, which is why I chose it. Most people don’t realize there’s a big difference between Ceylon and common cassia cinnamon. Ceylon is much gentler, lower in coumarin, and better suited for daily use, especially if you’re taking it for blood sugar balance or metabolic support. The quality here is excellent — fresh, finely ground, and easy to take. I’ve had no stomach irritation or side effects, which I’ve experienced before with stronger cassia cinnamon supplements. I use this as part of a routine focused on blood sugar stability, cravings, and overall metabolic health, and I like knowing I’m using a form that’s safer long-term. If you’re buying cinnamon for health reasons (not just flavor), this is the kind you want.

Highly recommend. I was afraid the cinnamon would upset my stomach but it has not. Lots of health benefits.

This is supposed to be 500 mg, but I was sent 1000 mg capsules. If you click the picture of the label, and zoom the picture (details depend on your browser and operating system, but CTRL + Mouse Wheel works for me) you will see the dosage is 1000 mg. I believe Amazon or the manufacturer has an incorrect title for this product. UPDATE: 2/16 The manufacturer pointed out an error in my original review. I stand corrected; each capsule is indeed 500 mg. It's the "serving size" that's 1000 mg. I wasn't expecting "serving size" to be anything other than 1. When shopping for a given amount of a vitamin or a supplement, I'm always operating under the assumption that it's easier to swallow one pill than it is to swallow multiple pills. When it comes to supplements, "serving size" can be anything the manufacturer wants it to be. Here it was 2, and I should have been more attentive to the labeling. That was my mistake, and I'm glad to be corrected. I knocked off a star in my original review because I felt the product was not as advertised. This was my error, so I'm restoring the missing star.

For the type 2 diabetics with a CDL, it works! I was a little skeptical about it, but I knew my A1C was over the limit. I'd heard that cinnamon helped moderate it, but where else do you get cinnamon besides on a icing-coated danish or donut of sorts? My DOT physical was in a couple weeks... I was worried. I tried this and, sure enough, it worked...dropped glucose levels well enough within a couple weeks. In fact, I was amazed at how the cinnamon pills dropped my daily glucose levels...and continues to do so. I'm not really promoting this particular supplier, it's just the one I bought initially...there are plenty of them...1000mg is what I got and took daily. I did some research since then and I THINK "ceylon" is the cinnamon that's native to Sri Lanka...but it's up to you to do further research and make choices. I continue to take cinnamon supplements. I'm going to impress the clinic the next time around!! No holds barred, truck drivers. Get your asses out of the truck and do some cardio walking! ...you know as well as I do that there's plenty of room in those parking lots.
