The control solution was easy to use. You take off the cap and put a drop onto the top of the cap (there’s a very small well) and use that as your sample after you set your meter to Control. Btw, the control solution is bright blue so have a paper towel handy in case it spills

It is something one must have if diabetes is a concern. It really helps verify your meter. I had doubts on my meter and used used the control solution and the result confirmed my suspicion - the meter was not good anymore. To be highly recommended

I was concerned that my OneTouch meter was reading very low, so purchased this to test it out. My meter read spot on, which was a relief, but this fairly expensive little bottle that expires in 6 months should really come free with the monitor in the first place and be covered by any prescription that covers the meter and/or supplies. To me, it was worth buying for peace of mind, but someone on a tighter budget who has a faulty meter will probably shy away from buying it, which is a shame.

Worked as described. In my area I couldn't find it for my glucose monitor. So was happy to find it on Amazon.

Solution works as it should, but the unopened box has an expiration date of August 2026. This works fine if you use it right away - the solution is good for 6 months after you open it. If you have it as a backup for solution you are already using, not so much - it will expire almost as soon as your current bottle. I suspect stored in a warehouse for months or years, so I now get my solution directly from OneTouch.
