Useful and Easy
Works perfectly. Installed in my wife's 2015 Hyundai Elantra 10 months ago. She starts the car from her office and by the time she gets in it, it is cooled down. Our location is Florida. The drone mobile is a ADD ON device, you must have a remote start in the car like a Firstech Start It or a Fortin EVO. The Drone needs to be plugged into the starter module. You can go to there web site and lookup compatible remote start kits. The drone will not start your car by itself.

Substantial Hidden Cost
EDIT: To be honest, I found out after a good bit of digging that if you let your free trial or subscription run out, there is a $35 reactivation fee. Which is what I let happen. I tried to subscribe the day the free trial ended. But something I think is dirty is the fact that on your subscription end date, the subscription ends at 12:00 AM, not at 11:59 PM like everything else in life. So, say your end date is 2/17, your subscription would end at midnight on 2/16. Just so you know... The one star review stays due to this not being worth any extra money over the already high price and the fact that their remote start installed in my wifes 2015 Camry is having issues as well. We found that the headlights no longer work at all on the auto setting (no wires were cut or tapped into as I had purchased their "T-Harness"). I contacted tech support (after 30 minutes on hold) to be told they haven't heard of that and requested I send in more information. They requested the serial and firmware numbers from the device (I had to take the dash apart on the car again to get them) and the VIN number from the car. I emailed them as requested and received a receipt that the email had been read. Never heard from them. Sent the email again with the information (read receipt received again) and never heard from them. Josh Woodie is the tech that has been ignoring the email he requested. Anyways, bad experience all around from a bad company. This was a Christmas present for my wife and it has been nothing but a headache.Original Review:Works fine. Problem is with the subscription service. I was well aware of the cost for the basic, premium, and business subscriptions before I purchased this. What I was not aware of was an additional $35 "activation fee" that is not disclosed anywhere I can find. Here's the kicker though, which really irritates me. They give you a free 30 trial (no activation fee for this by the way), so by the time your free trial is up, so is your return period when you find out about the additional fee. My device is already activated, why is there an activation fee just to purchase a subscription??? This is very low down, dirty, greedy business practice.

Remote Start from your phone!
I didn't want to pay for the unconnect service with my Jeep because they wanted so much for a basic service. I installed this with the Fortin EVO One. I don't know how I did it before not having a remote start. I could never go with out a remote start again and now I can remote start from my phone! This little device it the best investment for my vehicle. I am going to keep it in every vehicle I will ever own. The service they offer is awesome. It's not that expensive. I have yet to have any problems with it so far. I am so confident in the product I bought the three year service plan for it.

Scam!
This is no longer useable! Took it to be installed and the techs were shocked that I was even able to purchase this!! It is obsolete and no longer able to be activated or used because it’s only compatible with 3G network. Apparently the company sent replacements to people that had this … so not sure how this seller is getting away with this!

In spite of the delay, extremely useful.
I really like this product. Yes, there is a significant delay. I think in our 4G world, we forgot how slow 3G is. I'd say 10-15 second delay from press to the unit responding. To me, that's fine as I'm starting the truck 10 minutes before I have to leave anyway. 15 seconds is no big deal. If I need the truck to respond immediately, that's what my keyfob is for.If you have a CompuStar unit like the FT-DC3, this is a simple 1 cable installation. Setup was a breeze.

Decent overall, but no cell strength signal with the Basic subscription plan... REALLY ???
I bought the Drone Mobile at Best Buy and started the installation last night by simply plugging it in to an Evo One remote start unit. After powering up following the instructions, the unit never got a cell signal. Then the following morning, I re-hooked the power, and it started working after about a minute. Why it didn't work last night, I'll never know. The main gripe I have is that the app will not show the signal strength with the "Basic" plan. The "Premium" Plan is required to see the signal. I mean... REALLY ??? That's a difference of $70 per year for something that should be a basic function. After all, the entire functionality of the Drone is based on cellular service, so no cell service means you can't do anything with it. And without a signal indicator, the only clue you have that there is no service is by refreshing the app by swiping down, and then getting an error because there's no server communication. The actual commands work pretty well. After install, I experienced about a 6 second delay between command input and the actual activity. One thing, though, if you want to leave your car running with remote start while you're picking something up at the convenience store, you can't do that. Then this morning, after using the remote start with my key fob using the EVO One (not the Drone), the Drone actually gave me an error message stating the ignition was on... what's up with that ?The unit itself is very small, which is nice. Overall, though, I'll probably be returning it. I don't want something where I have to pay $70 extra per year so I can see the cell signal. That's completely unacceptable.

Well, this thing works perfectly fine. In my case it’s combined with Fortin Evo One. Haven’t had any issues for 3 months already. I even transfered it from old car to a new one. Yes, it got delays occasionally, which depends on cell network coverage, but, listen, if you can start your car from wherever you are, who cares about extra second to wait?Totally satisfied
