It's apt for children above four years of age since 'see inside books' are targeted for older kids. It contains little harder words. If you want a simpler version, try out the 'look inside series'.My son is just two years old, and I have started collecting good usborne books for him from now onwards. There is no such thing as 'too many books'!!. 😄.If you are into interactive and informative book presented in a fun way, this book is a must have for kids. Who knows it may even sparkle the interests of a kid to become a doctor/ health care worker/ biologist!! In the future. First copy was for my 3 yr old daughter. Illustrations simple for her to follow and relate. Even it appeals to older audience like us. Now i have started gifting copies to other kids. Highly recommend it as a way to introduce human biology to kids. Being a bit heavy, its for 3 years and up...
