We bought these for non-yelling comms between my wife and I while docking or anchoring. It was either these or the Sena's. My friends have the Sena system. But, that system covers both ears and connects to a phone. 1. I don't want to be bothered with the phone while trying to safely dock. 2. I don't want Both ears covered. We go through locks and being able to hear the line handlers at the locks while also talking calmly between us is going to be a big improvement. The headsets are loud and clear with volume adjustments via big buttons on the earcup. They link up as soon as they are turned on. A big benefit is that the batteries are removable for charging, so we bought an extra pair of batteries for $22 each. Now we always have fresh batteries.. Nice carry case is included too. Pro's - Comfortable - covers an ear, not both - Wind noise has not been an issue - Light weight - Complete system in a travel bag - Flip mic up to mute, easy and intuitive Cons - Price is a bit high, but in line with competition

I have used these headsets several times over a few years. They were provided on a chartered cruiser to communicate with crew. They worked great and I expect get a lot of use on a charter boat. I ordered my own set for a charter next year on a boat that doesn't provide them.

Great clear sound. Only issue is the degradation of the ear pads. They left our ears covered in sticky black bits after not very much use and keeping them indoors in cool dark cupboard when not in use. Need to try and find replacements now.

Product is kind of cheezy Chinese. But these communicate amazing. Easy set up. Kind of high priced but function is great so far. It's like being in your first mate's ear while whispering. Will definitely do great while docking, anchoring, etc.

These headsets are a game changer. If you're a boater, you need these for clear, hands free communication. A little pricey but much cheaper than a divorce. (You boater couples know what I mean lol) No more yelling or miscommunication between captain and first mate. Light weight and comfortable. No buttons to push to speak or answer. Background noise from wind, engines etc is completely cancelled. Highly recommend.

These headsets are plastic crapola. The microphone arm does not keep upright position, the batteries go dead almost immediately. Bad when they fail going through a lock. We would invest in a better set if we had known.

Edit One year review. Just brought them out for this boating season. never kept batteries in the units but they dont work already! Used six times last year, loved them. Brought home during winter. Charged this week to go on a trip and the batteries won’t work! Of course I ordered 1 year and one week ago LOL! Wth! So just ordered new batteries…. But 6x. Ughh. Marriage Savers!! My sign language skills suck!! We have a 37 foot non fly bridge boat, so we are really never than 10’ from each other. Have 2 open windows! We don’t need these!! But holy cow, docking and anchoring became screaming matches! Our boat is well insulated and we couldn’t hear each other at all. These were HIGHLY recommended by America’s great loop members. Omg these were game changers while docking and anchoring. We might look silly with a boat our size but I don’t care. Anxiety level went down from 100 to 8. Well worth it!!

These things are brilliant. We have been using our for ages now with no problems at all. It makes it so much easier to talk to each other when the wind is blowing a gale

Wonderful Technology for the wife and I. Use it around the acreage when operating equipment. Meant for the Boat but that will be later on.
