They don't leak
The gasket of the Bubba mug I bought sixteen years ago became brittle and leaked. Replacing the gasket was simple and has made the mug a favorite again since the gasket has cured the leak.

Fits just fine. No leaks.
I TRIED to make it leak. turned the mug upside down. leaked out the air hole. I'll say this, the difference between this and the OEM gasket is that this one is not symmetrical and is definitely a tighter fit. I put mine on so that the seal is curved up towards the lid. (Not real easy to get a pic with it mounted) Since I got no leaks this way, I never tried it the other way. This mug goes to work with me every day. I'm still on my first replacement and the other two are stowed away.

perfect fit
I was so surprised to find these were available. The one that came with my original purchase of my 52 oz Bubba Mug was on it's last leg and leakage had started to happen. I was looking to replace my mug which is still in excellent condition except for the seal when I ran across these on the website. Saved me the expense of replacing the entire mug as I have become very attached to it (I use it practically everyday). What a find!!

BUBBA BUCKETS ARE GREAT!
Keep it up, Bubba! I have probably been using Bubba kegs, Bubba buckets, and Bubba mugs since the day I first saw them in Walmart; probably 20 or more years ago. My only problem was that the seals tended to leak after a while. But with every purchase, improvements had been made on that. The bucket that I love the most is my current Bubba bucket. Had a problem with the seal on that one, but to my surprise, I found these seals that easily replace the original worn out seal, taking care of any leaks. The last Bubba keg that I bought did not have a twist top, but rather a top that you just push straight down. That's the best of the best. You should consider using this type seal on all of your mugs!

Updated: Does not work with Bubba Keg 52
Updated:After screwing on the lid a second time my Keg started leaking. Looking at the gasket I recognized that the original gasket was thinner at one part to accommodate the shallower portion of the lid that is opposite of the lid opening. So, even though these gaskets can be stretched to fit the lid, they do not work as the lid is not uniformly where the gasket is seated.Old:The gaskets look way too small for the Lid of the screw on Bubba Keg 52. But they do fit.I was ready to return them after I placed them on the lid. But then I tried stretching them and they stretched easily. Just work them in like you would do with a rubber band and they fit. Finally I can use my Keg again and only need one refill a day.
