Exactly what I needed to cook Ethiopian food
We are huge fans of Ethiopian food but Covid has made it impossible for us to get so I decided to cook a large Ethiopian meal like I would have in a restaurant. My ambition was to make Injera, Doro Wat, Lamb Tibbs, Misir Wat, Atakit Wat, and Ayib. Almost all of the recipes called for Nitter Kibbeh. I thought about trying to make it from scratch but didn't have a few of the required ingredients so bought this off Amazon. We couldn't be happier. It was pricey but so, so worth it. Right from the get go, the aromas of the cooking food were "right" and everything tasted great when done. While I don't think I will ever attempt to make so much food all at once again (almost 8 hours cooking, not including 3 days prep for the Injera), it was a great meal and accomplishment. Even with making all these dishes, I still have half a container left. Next time I will stick to 1 meat and 1 veg dish. The lentils are a new go-to side dish for us that is quick and easy to make with a lot of flavor.

Ayurveda Life
Wow! The best Ghee ever. How I use it? Coffee! I know coffee is not recommended in an Ayurvedic lifestyle, but I have my ego going in the morning and still enjoy a cup. I use a pinch of cardamom to reduce the acid effect and add a 1/4 teaspoon of the vanilla Ghee! Unreal if I may say so myself. You just wait...the coffee industry will start using this method. It is awesome in any tea I make making a truly satisfying cup. Why Ghee? Good to keep the body lubricated, sattvic food source and no lacto. I dare not use it any other way or my consumption may go into outer space! Pure organic and healthy Ghee! Thank you to the producers of this insanely creative product. Sat nam

Great product for Ethiopian food
We purchased this to make doro wat and several additional Ethiopian dishes. We were very pleased with the flavor and quality. It definitely enhanced the dishes more than regular ghee would do.This is a very large quantity--we cooked six dishes and used less than a quarter of the container. We would prefer a smaller size next time: our passion for international foods has us exploring multiple types of food, so Ethiopian is not an everyday menu item in our house.

Love this Ghee!
It feels good to know that what I am cooking with is a healthier choice. Not only is this ghee made from grass-fed dairy, it is also organic. Plus it has a higher smoking/cooking point so that it does not have the same carcinogenic affects that occur when cooking with extra virgin olive oil or other oils with lower cooking points. Therefore it is perfect for pan frying and grilling. I leave it on the counter for easy access as it does not need refrigeration. Plus it is delicious and give a great nutty taste to my dishes. This has been one of my best choices when choosing a healthier choice to stir-frying and grilling. Will buy again for sure.

Interesting & versatile
I was surprised at how versatile this flavor is! The vanilla and brown butteriness of it can be a little overwhelming upfront but when you find the perfect pairings it is delightful. I love this melted and drizzled over air-popped popcorn and it really surprised me when I used it to fry an egg to put over a waffle for breakfast - unreal. I’ve also used this one as a fat substitute in banana muffins which was nice. Have to say though, I did not enjoy it in my coffee. I have 2 other flavors and can’t wait to go through the entire flavor line up.

Wow What Flavor
I had purchased at a local Indian store prior to COVID shutdown, organic ghee that made me realize there are big differences in the quality, texture, and flavor of this product across multiple brands. I had tried to find this same brand and it is no longer on the manufacturer's site nor other shopping sites. I then proceeded to purchase another brand and was not impressed. My search was back on for great-tasting ghee when I discovered the ratings on Ahara. I was also trying really hard to find great products that are made in the USA, plus I like their story of how they make their product. But I did think that maybe because it was made here opposed to where the product originated from it would lack in-depth and flavor, I was wrong. I have tried many ghee products from international stores and I am no expert but by far this is even better than the original product I was trying to match and wow it is actually the best ghee I have ever tasted. I just purchased other flavors and I can't wait to try them. When it shipped it was delicately wrapped and it included a travel size for free, nice touch! I always do a price check on everything from Amazon now, because there is a lot of overcharging on products. This product when purchased from the manufacture Ahara on Amazon is the same price as it is on their site so there is no overcharging. Fantastic product, I can't imagine I will ever use traditional butter again.

This is fabulous--no more trying to make my own Niter Kibbeh
What can I say, this is absolutely delicious! It's absolutely essential for Ethiopian recipes, but it tastes wonderful in other things, too. Is it a bit pricey? Sure, but it's. worth every penny! I'm done trying to make my own Niter Kibbeh, this is just too good!

Arrived damaged twice.
This stuff is delicious! It adds an extra kick to your dishes. If you don't live in an area where Ghee is readily available, this will do nicely, however the package arrived broken twice. I had to use a cheese cloth to strain all the glass out.
