Norpro Manual Jumbo Tomato Strainer & Sauce Maker

This product is amazing! It works exactly as demonstrated in the helpful video. I am able to press 24 pounds of hot tomatoes in about 30 minutes because the plastic is so sturdy and thick. I would buy this product again and again!!!!!!!!!!

This idea works but this version is cheap and broke putting it together. It’s a handful of pieces that come with it and no instructions or photos. The suction never worked and it tipped over twice. Also hard to clean. Once we “taped” it together it works but this is a cheap version. I will buy one made of metal and that clamps to counter.

This is the 2nd one I bought because I love it so much. The only reason I had to buy another one is because we lost a piece, and the company does not make replacement parts. That is one negative. The only other negative is i wish the tray was bigger. I still give it 5 stars because it is super easy to use and even clean. I can put most of it in the dishwasher, but I don't put the spring element in there because it will rust. If you put it together correctly, it works perfectly. And if you have it lined up properly, it suctions to the counter perfectly. Nice, inexpensive press that works hard!! I did dozens of tomatoes and some apples too

Purchased this after returning a metal food mill. What a find! This little gem is fast and efficient. It goes together easily and is easy to clean when the job is done. We use at least once a week and typically more.

It’s big, easy to use but the tomato skins and stuff get all caught up inside the spin thing and when you take it out and open it to clean it the spring flies out and the part just went everywhere. I lost one of the tabs after one use and need to get a new one but don’t know where to get a new tab as I can’t find them. Will have to buy a new press instead. Not worth the money.

What time saver! Love it.

I have a small community garden plot which provides my wife and I was lots of fresh tomatoes. Last year's canning process was so tedious trying to separate the juice from the seeds and pulp. I brought this machine even though a couple reviews weren't so positive. But I'm very happy with the quality and the way it sped up my tomato sauce process. The suction worked great on my granite counters. At times things got a little messy, but that was mostly my doing. I'm already looking forward to next year's garden!

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this item. It was previously sold by a different manufacturer but this seemed to resemble it. The parts were defective, did not assemble easily and the suction did not work, at all. The packaging looked as if it was bumped around a lot and the separate parts inside has small chips and cracks which made assembly really difficult. The suction, no matter how many surfaces I tried, simply did not work. Yes, there was also leakage in the handle portion and so when you spend a lot of time making fresh tomato sauce, losing some to a defective product is a big deal.
