This is a tricky one
Hmmmm, I enjoyed this in parts but at the same time became frustrated. Given that Kaitlyn becomes a huge name in the criminal world from a poor, neglected upbringing there wasn't enough description or story line in how she got to basically become a multi millionaire. There were times when I thought yes it's getting going now but then it kind of fell apart. The writer uses a lot of cliches in this novel and an incredible amount of descriptive paragraphs, whilst that can work at times I felt that this story would have read better if he had 'showed' through the characters rather than 'telling' the reader. This is the second book written by Kevin Lewis that I have read, I have certainly read a lot worse, not sure though that I will read another.I agree very much with the reviewer that said she felt if he picked it up in a few years time and re wrote it, it would more than likely be a five star.

Brilliant
Considering if never heard of the author before reading this, I absolutely loved it. Perfect if you’re a fan of Heather Atkinson or Stephen Suttie.

Brilliant!!!!!
Been looking for a new author ive read all the other gritty ones been starved of reading material. Please keep writing I read Frankie a few years ago didnt know more books were written!! My daughter is called Francesca and we call her Frankie! Just on The Kid now cant wait to read it. Ive read some stomach churning stories like Broken by Shy Keenan and its so authentic to hear the real stories of absolute horror and neglect out there. Thankyou for sharing and keep up the excellent fiction!!

Great Read
This is a really good read a page turner from start to finish. Have just started to read Kevin Lewis books and he knows how to write. The stories are well thought out. Have also read a couple of other books he has written and have not been disappointed. If you like Martina Cole and Kimberly Chambers then you will enjoy this book.
