The grip is pretty good for the top and bottom sockets as well. You will certainly appreciate the quality of the plastic used and the grip the metal clamps inside offer. This unit also looks better than some of the other similar ones in the market.LED LIGHTThis may sound silly but the red LED light indicator is a life saver in my circumstances. :-)BASIC PROTECTIONRemember that this multiplug is NOT a stabilizer. It only offers surge protection. All the same, something is better than nothing as far as the power stability is concerned. I have used this as a standard mount for all my wall sockets that I use for TV, Speakers, Settop box, Wifi router Etc. For some of these equipment, the stabilizer is connected to this multi-plug. This ends up providing an additional level of surge protection for high-value appliances.Do not be tempted to get the ones you get for Rs.30 or Rs.40 in electrical shops. This is just a multi-plug with a small capacitor installed between the Phase and Neutral. (The Capacitor picture is attached.)As such, the claim that it could act as a genuine surge protector is highly questionable. The bright red LED indicator is there to show whether power is on or off only, and it has nothing to do with any surge protection function either.Hence, people who are looking for a genuine surge protector may avoid this product, or use it with the Belkin brand basic surge protectors marketed in the essential series.

The product has a very attractive getup and fits in the sockets ver well. The other remarkable thing is that any two pin plug/Adaptor fits in the pins very snugly without any struggle and makes perfect contact with the pins of the multiplug. Led indicators tell you the status of power but I have not encountered any situation where the surge protection property can be verified. I have ordered five of them so far.

Decent quality multi plug. Is not very wide and so doesn't foul with the adjacent switches. This is important for flush mount zero clearance modules like Anchor Roma Urban.The two pin points are vertical. The plastic flexes and creaks while handled gently. Otherwise it is good quality. Comes with an LED indicator.

These universal Multiplugs are a great buy. They have a locking system where the dvice you plug in gets locked into the multiplug so there is no risk of loose connections. Even the bottom socket locks onto your device/item securely. It also has surge protection which is absolutely neccessary and a great feature. Currently I have around 4-5 of these (from diff sellers). I use one for protection for my XBOX360 main plug, one for my cellphone charger, my music system, and even for my aquarium connections like airpump, heater, filter, etc. it's a really good and useful product. Don't buy those cheap double plugs from the hardware store for Rs 30-40. Better spend some more money and buy this and also protect your devices as well. great product.
