I am so glad I didn't listen to alot of the reviews before buying and decided to take a chance because if I wasn't satisfied I could always return it. Well I love it and I mean love it. Didn't have any issues at all. I think the size is perfect for my 8ft tree. Plus I think it would of looked funny if the Santa and reindeer was any bigger because it would hide the glowing star.

I love this tree topper. I'll try to address some of the negative reviews here. I see many complaints about the size, I think they're unfounded - if it was bigger I think it'd look cheesy. The star is about average size with Santa and his team measuring about 2" tall and 11" long. The size makes it subtle yet unique. Santa orbits the star not the tree. Keep this in mind when reading the reviews that complain that Santa doesn't light up. I believe the intent is that it creates a silhouette look in low light situations. This is much like you might see in old children's books when they show Santa flying past the moon or a Christmas Star. Installation should work well with a real tree, a fake tree, a big tree or a little tree. The Star does not slide on top of the tree like a traditional one would. Instead the star sits atop a rod that runs along the trunk of the tree. The rod is attached to the tree using common zip ties (included are several years worth of zip ties). If you had an exceptionally large trunk you can easily connect two zip ties together to increase the length. You might also want to note that Santa and his reindeer due appear to be delicate and are not intended to be handled by children.

I bought this topper last year. I love Thomas Kinkade and this looked perfect. I received it and it was really small I decided to keep it anyway. I started looking it over and besides being tiny and made of plastic one of the reindeer legs was broke off. I went thru the problem of sending it back and when I received my new topper 3 of the reindeer legs were broken off and for the price I just couldn't see keeping it, even though I'm sure we wouldn't of been able to see the broken places. Still for the price I just sent it back for a refund. The packing looked good but for some reason I couldn't get one that wasn't broke. They were really cooperative about returns and refunds though. One star because it was tiny, made of plactic and both toppers were broke. 5 stars because customer service was extremely helpful.

It is small and hard to see from the floor on my 9’ tree but it is beautiful. I have 18’ ceilings in the living room and the tree is in the corner next to the open stairway so the star is eye level from the landing. The detail on each of the reigndeer is really nice but hard to see from the ground level. With that said regardless of not being able to see all the fine details at the top of my tall tree it still looks awesome up there and is definitely a talking point when guests come over. Having it spin around the tree is just not something everyone has seen before. I love it. They love it. It really is a great piece. As for the comments about the noise, I can hear it when there is nothing else on in the house but with people talking, tv or music in the background or even the sound of the house settling I can not hear it at all or it is very minimal and not at all bothersome.

It is small how it look on this tree the image of the topper it's about that small. Don't compare it to the tree, because this background does make it look bigger but the image of the topper is fairly accurately. The star ornament is a lot bigger but when your looking up and you are looking at different angels then it make sense. I think this is the best topper I've ever had. It is on a timer so it does stop spinning after so many hours and then you have to turn it back on. Alot of my family and friends like it, my father in law I think actually was thinking about getting himself one. It looks awesome on the tree, watch the reindeers circle around the tree with the sleigh . It made my home feel like Christmas . If you want something different and unique for your Christmas. I suggest this topper

The sleigh and reindeer are pretty. The star should have a little more sparkle and have an option for twinkle lights. One of the reindeer had a broken set of antlers. The sleigh only turns for a bit when you first plug it in and then it stops. The light are out and it just sits up on the tree looking sad. I will be returning it and finding something else to put in the tree for the kids to enjoy.

I'm happy that it is MUCH SMALLER than the picture, it's actually is a very appropriate size for a 8 foot tree, anything bigger might look funny. It seems to stay on for 3 hours or so every night before it turns itself off " must be on a timer". Although it's small, it is very cute while it's on. If you buy this put the switch in an accessible place to turn it on when it turns off . I wish it were less expensive how ever it did bring many smiles to all that saw it. Wow we have had this since 2012 and it’s been great, it squeaks a little now but honestly it’s the best tree topper I’ve ever had and I’m 68 yrs. We love it.

Absolutely gorgeous! So unique! I can’t even count how many compliments we received on it!

What I got was slightly different. The first picture is what I ordered, the second picture is what I got. The first picture has a bigger Santa, with better detail, and the reindeers has better colour. It’s still good what I got, but for the price, I was expecting the first picture.

Received and it’s briken. It doesn’t work. The battery area does not have the metal part for the battery to attach to, therefor there is no electricity and the whole thing doesn’t work. Incredibly disappointed. I’ve reached out to the seller (I’ve take pictures) - be interesting to see how they respond/handle the situation. I will update ...

Its pretty but way smaller then I thought. I didn't put it on my tree this year, as I already had my tree decorated when it arrived. but I think it's going to look really small on my tree.
