Read with Oxford: Stages 1-2: Julia Donaldson's Songbirds: My Phonics Story Collection Paperback – 3 May 2018

Progression is quite quick but the books are interesting and provide great supplementary reading material. I’m also quite impressed with some of the later series which are more lengthy with good rate of difficulty progression. Would recommend!

Excellent first readers

Fabulous book for 1st time readers! Every word can be spelt out with phonics which encourages reading. And they are so much more interesting than the school books! Both I and my 4-5 year old love them!

I absolutely love the idea with stickers poster where you add a sticker for every book read. This has encouraged my 5yo to read all the books just over the weekend.

My son really likes these and we have found them great for teaching him to read. One problem though, we got sent an extra "dig dig dig" (book 4) and we didn't get book 5 which is a shame. Only just noticed, which is a bit too late. Anyway, check your books when then arrive

Bought as Xmas present for 4 year old. Grandson. Once looked at books and started to read stage 1 he was so happy he could read and sound out we read 3 together all at once. Stage 2 books were a little more demanding but he liked the story and worked quite hard to read it. Excellent vale.

Great books for 4/5 year olds

These got a big thumbs up from my Granddaughter and her Mother.A joy to read for beginners.
