Knog Oi Classic Bike Bells

I really like the look and the ease in which this fits to the bike. I made one interesting observation, the sound this bell makes is very similar to either a Text message or Whatsapp audible alert made by an Iphone. I found this out on the Pennine Bridleway on my first outing, as I approached a couple of walkers I rang my bell and to my surprise both the walkers stopped and got out their phones. Now I give my bell a couple of dings when approaching walkers :-)

After discovering this product fitted as standard on a friend’s new bike, I checked out the manufacturer’s website and liked what I read about the R&D put into this bell and the aim behind its creation.I know, for some folk, that it’s only a bike bell. Why would the sound matter that much?Well, we live in a world of choices, and I chose this ‘cos I liked the design and the clear tone of the ring.It fits easily on to the handlebars, and the manufacturer has added accessories to make sure it fits snugly. It’s unobtrusive too, which appeals to me. Finally, it sounds clear and true and brings a wee smile to my face when I hear it.

Great trendy looking bell. Work well. Not too loud, so may need ringing several times. The spring in the spring loaded ringer is a weak point. They can get bent quite easily, preventing the bell from working properly.

The media could not be loaded.  The bell looks the part, goes well with my matte black paint job. I thought it was loud but on London’s busy roads/cycle paths it’s very quiet and I cycle up close to people quicker than they hear the bell. This aside, it’s lasted six weeks. The spring is cheap and flimsy and now it’s completely out of place leaving me bell-less.

Not as loud as cheap bells, which mean you end up shouting to announce your presence anyway. Plus if you over-tighten it stops it from working.I've had mine for three months, and today it decided to die. As others have said, the bot you flick back is too springy and as a result mine now doesn't ring at all.

Easy to assemble and takes up hardly any space on the handlebars. I thought the ding wouldn't be loud enough for people to hear. I was wrong. It dooesn't sound loud but the ring is clear and works every time

I bought this on Amazon to replace the one that came with my new bike orginally.It looks good, easy to put on, and takes up minimal space (= 1 star), BUT in both instances a tiny but crucial piece of the ringer fell of after a few weeks rendering it competely useless. It is also not really loud enough...NB. I cycle relatively frequently, i.e 4 times a week x 15 miles on average, but on roads and paths rather than bumpy terrain, nor am I a pathological bike bell-ringer, so no excuse for fragility in terms of how much I used it!

This is an excellent bike bell with a good ring. The volume level is good but not as high as I was expecting, but the tone is easily heard by pedestrians. Some bells with larger domes are louder but those types take up too much room on your handlebars. The USP of the Knog Oi bell is it's size and narrow profile and the tone of the ring. Don't hesitate - just get it!

It sounds great. People will hear me. It’s less aggressive than my stock ebike horn. Had a nice ring and sound. Feels great. Easy to install. You can tell this is the MJ of bells.

I love this bell. Perfect if you have external cables as it has an opening for the cables to go through. Nice loud ring.

Wanted a bell for by gravel bike for the multi-use bike paths in my area. Bell is nice looking, fairly aero, fits in a tight space and makes a nice sound.

Dzwonek ładnie komponuje się na kierownicy, to fakt, ale mógłby być co najmniej 2× głośniejszy i trwalszy. Po paru miesiącach jazdy w najróżniejszym terenie pękła jedna ze sprężynek mocujących dzwoniący element i klops.

The media could not be loaded.  Habe dieses Designerstück an mein neues E-Bike montiert (Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 SLX 750) ... passt perfekt, leicht zu montieren, nur eine Imbus Schraube (Imbuss Schlüssel im Lieferumfang) ... um den Lenker herumkommen, festschrauben, fertig.Finde die Lautstärke auch sehr angenehm (siehe Video) ...gerne jederzeit wieder.
