got this for my moms bday since she now has a grandchild and it was one of our favorites when I was growing up. still love it and she was very happy. I highly recommend for all little ones who like spooky ish things like me and now my daughter

Had this book when I was a kid, donated many many years ago. Glad to see that it was back in print, and unchanged in artwork or wording (it happens from time to time). Repetitive sentence structure works for the new reader, we practice changing the tone to make it more entertaining. The story of a family of skeletons wandering out at night, with silly, not scary hijinks. Didn't know there was a series, will look to buy!

This was one of my favorite books as a kid and I’m so glad after ordering it to see that it still holds up. It’s silly, fun and a little weird. So perfect.

I got this book for my son, I used to read it as a kid and am happy to say he loves it!

I read this book as a child and it became one of my favorites. I was recently reminded of it, so I decided to search for it and found it on Amazon. Unfortunately, there was some kind of delay with the package but I did finally receive it in the end. The book arrived brand new, as described, and in perfect condition. And the story was still as good as it was over 20 years ago.

I read this book to my son 25 years ago. He loved it so much he asked me to read it to him every night. I have to say I was glad when he stopped asking for this story. My son has a son now, so I couldn't resist buying this book for him to read to our Grandson. It is a cute story,

I loved this book when I was little and glad I found it for my kid. It’s her favorite ‘halloween’ type book to read. She loves the dark dark stair case, dark dark street etc....she loves saying it out loud with me when we read it. Great book!

Funny story, my kids love it

Adquirí este libro con tapa blanda e incluyendo CD. El libro tiene unas veinte hojas ilustradas a color, y con texto cuya letra es bastante grande, se lee con facilidad. La historia es bastante divertida. Tres esqueletos, un adulto, un niño, y un perro. Salen de su castillo y se van a asustar a la gente. El perro sufre un percance y sus huesos se desmoronan. Sus amigos los vuelven a montar, pero no lo hacen bien y resulta un perro muy divertido. Una vez solucionado el problema cómo se encontraran con otros esqueletos de animales. Las ilustraciones son muy divertidas, muy llamativas. El texto juega algo con la rima y la repetición. Hay palabras que se repiten varias veces, por lo que se facilita su comprensión y aprendizaje. El CD es sencillo, tiene únicamente 2 pistas. En la primera pista se lee el libro, con efectos de sonido. La segunda pista es la misma pero se añade un sonido especial para indicar cuándo se debe pasar la página. Está muy bien para que los niños lean a la vez que escuchen, y así aprendan a pronunciar perfectamente. Aunque el libro es en tapa blanda, es muy resistente, tanto las tapas cómo las hojas, son bastante gruesas y de buena calidad. Perfecto para cualquier comento y especialmente para Halloween!
