Wade 72-91136 Smoke Platinum Bug Shield

Installed on a 2020 Chevy Colorado. No drilling and no adhesive tape. Bolts into existing holes under hood. Just remove the weatherstripping and you’re good to go.

Very easy to install, you need to take out the weather stripping where you install. you use the same holes for the screws and the guard works as the weather stripping. It took me about 15 minutes, that includes cleaning the area

I got this for my new white truck (I didn't want a black/smoke one on it). I was happy that it was a good fit- but it had a scratch and something dark embedded in the one side. It wasn't a big flaw- but enough that I wasn't going to keep it. I returned it and found a place to buy it local where I could inspect it before purchase. This time I got one that fit my quality standards (which I admit are high) and am loving how it looks on my truck (and the fact it keeps chips off that front edge). It did add a little bit of wind noise at first- but after doing a little bit of adjusting it stopped and makes now extra sounds. I would buy it again- just not online....

After removing the weather stripping, I was disappointed to find that the screws would not fit into the area of my trunk to attach the reflector. It then took a lot of time to reattach the weather strip. Wasted my time and money with this purchase. When it arrived, the box was damaged and the product had scuffs on it as if it had been used by someone else and just shipped to me with the guise o being new. Not happy.

Fits and looks great no drilling into my new truck just take out the weather strips and the screws go into them

Outside two mounting holes cracked as I was installing the screws. I never got the shield mounted to my truck.

Had a lot of issues lining this up with the weather stripping holes on my dad's chevy colorado. It was almost like the mould was off but we muscled it into the right place.We ended up drilling a new hole in-line with the weather stripping holes.We bought it to cover a scratch right on the front of the hood which definitely helps and was a perfect disguise to clean up the look of his truck and the truck actually looks cooler with it on. Removed the "wade" branding just because it looked cleaner without it.I would've given 5 stars if it were a seamless install but it wasn't too easy.

Good product easy to install on my 18 colorado. Useses predrilled weather stripping holes. 4 screws and your finished!

Cracked on one side when installing ??? Did not overtighten .....was really looking forward to my purchase .....installed many before
