Drop in replacement battery for HP RAID controller
Older Gen 9 HP server was showing an error on the RAID controller battery. Found this as a replacement and it works just fine. No more error messages and It's been in use for over 6 months.

Did not work at all
The battery I received was defective. It had a data code from 2017 and appears to have the original 2017 batteries in it. Clearly was pulled from an old server. It had no charge and would not accept a charge from the server. I got an error on every boot of the system. The replacement they sent was the exact same - no signs of life.

Bought 2, they worked perfectly.
Installed on a HP DL380 G9. There is a "how to" on youtube but Amazon would not let me post the link.

The battery works
It is an expensive BIOS battery, but that is normal for an HPE products or parts. The tradeoff is that it is HPE. That means you know it will work properly.
