Once upon a time, I needed some affordable and reliable knives for my kitchen.As always, I decided to start my reseacrh with Amazon, and as result I found this WACOOL ceramic knife set.The first thing to mention, is a price. The set is a budget-friendly solution. At the same time, for this price, you get quite a lot in this set: a chef’s knife, a utility knife, and a paring knife for fruits and vegetables.The knives are very lightweight and also sharp. They cut through vegetables or bread without any resistance, making cooking significantly easier and faster. The handle is comfortable and doesn’t slip in hand.Of course, these are ceramic knives, so they can't be used for chopping hard foods, and they shouldn’t be stored loosely. But as long as you follow the care instructions, you won’t have any issues. The only downside is that they can't be hung on a magnetic holder—but remember, we chose ceramic knives, right?The set includes plastic protective sheaths, but honestly, they irritate me more than they help. I think it's mostly a marketing move because I just don't use them, even though they should make storage safer.Overall, this is a good set of sharp ceramic knives for a reasonable price. I recommend it!

After years of use, some of the blade tips have broken off. This however still does not hamper the effectiveness of the knife.

My first set of these broke after cutting soft Ables. I ordered a second set to replace the broken one and so far it has held up for two weeks with low use. The grip is nice. They cut nicely because they’re super sharp, matter-of-fact I’ve cut my fingers on them three times already. Hoping that, continue to hold up as I use them. The colors are nice and bright and vibrant. Hoping that the first break was just a fluke.

These knives are an incredible value at $17. They are easy to use and ridiculously sharp. BE CAREFUL! After a few months with them, I was not being careful anymore and was hurriedly washing the 4-inch knife and it slipped into my second knuckle on my index finger. It instantly cut though all layers and I didn't even feel it. That being said, their sharpness makes them a joy to work with and I still love them because of it. You can cut ripe cherry tomatoes without smashing them, cut ribbon strips of just about anything without tearing - they are wonderful and reduce prep time. Just make sure you are using safe cutting techniques and wash with the care they deserve. I do also run mine through the dishwasher and they have held up fine.I have retired many of our old metal knives as we are downsizing stuff in the kitchen to what we ACTUALLY use. I like that they come with simple sheaths and do not require a big block to hold them. Since these are only a set of (3) - 4, 5, and 6 inch - I thought I would miss having a big knife for lettuce etc...not really! I found that the knives work best for me if I use the smallest one I can (same force exerted over a smaller blade length = more cutting power per inch on a smaller blade compared to a large one, at least that's my theory). I use the 4 and 5 inch the most and the 6 inch cuts up the bigger stuff for me easily. I recommend these 100% without any reservation!

Not very sharp for brand new ceramic knives

I bought these knives a few years ago and registered for the warranty. I use them all the time and they are great. One of the knives came loose from the handle so I contacted the company for a replacement. They instead sent me an entire new set of knives. Would def recommend these knives and the company has great customer service.

I really like these knives. I bought them for my RV and the covers are important to have. They fit well.I like the feel of these knives in my hand and they cut really well.

When I cut lettuce with these knives , I can cut very thin slices or thicker and lettuce does not "rust".

Balanced knives. Edge retains it's amazing sharpness. DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER.

Great knives if used for what they are ment for. Dont pry and try to resharpen. Use wood and/or plastic cut boards

Los cuchillos se ven bien y parecen adecuados. Sin embargo vienen con un instructivo que dice NO usar en tabla para cortar, NO meter al lavavajillas, NO cortar carnes , NO lo afile......etc.... ???????? Son para mantequilla? Esto no se parece nada a la descripción al comprar ni a las opiniones.Habrá que ver, pero no me dejan contenta, parece que compré un problema.
