Body Armor 4x4 (JK-2395) Black Steel Rear Bumper with Adjustable Pin for Jeep Wrangler JK

This bumper looks great. But it is designed poorly. The bumper definitely won't fall off or anything but there are only 4 bolts, all of which only provide stopping the bumper from forward/backward movement. The bumper can very easily be shifted up and down by taking hold of the spare tire, or by simply opening the gate(5295) which will twist the bumper and bind the bearings.There are as many bolts holding the bumper to the back of your jeep as there are to adjust the alignment of the carrier.Also no D-Rings, instructions, or torque specs available for this bumper.Polish your product before you sell it, so you can take some pride in a job well done.Disappointed with the bumper and company overall, I would love to return it but already sold my stock parts. Oh well, I'm stuck for now. I would not recommend this bumper, even for the price. You get what you pay for I guess.

The bumper is great. It bolts on without any trouble. I also purchased the tire carrier and that is the worst part of this system. See my review to get the full story. A note of caution, the 2395 bumper WILL NOT work with the 2394 tire carrier. You will need the 2395 tire carrier. While the swing pin is the same, the latch is completely different and cannot be easily modified to work. The XX95 bumper latch bolts on, the XX94 bumper latch is welded on and uses a completely different latch. For the record, I like the 2394 better.

I ordered this bumper after having installed the front version from Body Armor, which was perfect, and installed well. This one, on the other hand was crooked out of the box. It was actually twisted ( pretzeled) along its longitudinal axis, by over 2 inches. This had to have been a manufacturing defect, no amount of dropping or anything else one could do to this hulk of steel, could twist it like that. How did this get through quality control at the company, I do not know. Shame on the company for shipping products in this condition.

It was a very tight fit, but with two guys and a floor Jack, we got it into position. Only one bolt per side. All is torqued down tight, but two bolts per side would be better. Looks very good.

does not fit swing arm tire carrier well, had to customize parts to make it close w/out completely damaging finish on bumper, one of the nuts that was welded to another part had a poorly placed weld on the inside where threads are. no instructions come with this part or the tire carrier and good luck finding them on the internet.

Great rear bumper. Mine came is great condition. The fit was EXTREMELY tight, so that made it a bit of a pain as I busted open my knuckle trying to fit it on (did the install myself)! I would highly recommend. Looks great and seems like a great bumper.

I did not buy this, but was installed by the previous owner when I bought my 2010 JKRU. The swing arm hides the license plate which is problematic if you need to have an inspection label. The swing arm is horrible and sages when you open it. I basically have to hold it to get to the trunk. The swing arm bearings bind as well making a crunching sound anytime you open or close it. Not a great product. For anyone thinking of upgrading to a tire carrier and bumper, get a quality part that works well

This bumper works as advertised... a very tight fit, which I like. It took about two hours to install on my 2014 Wrangler with the use of a rubber mallet and wood blocks. Finish seems to be sturdy. Will updated after a couple of months. The only complaint I have is the brace connector to the frame is too long...covers the two holes in the frame I need to use for the cargo rack.

All around good bumper. A little difficult to install (very tight fit). Instructions missing a few steps but simple to figure out by searching the instructions on line. It would be nice however if the mounting brackets on the bumper stopped just short of the old mounting bracket holes for the old bumper as that is where the roof rack needs to connect if you don't want to drill into your tub. Overall a good sturdy bunper though
