compatibility issues between the video port and the audio port with windows 10. works best with mac. Those perfect doors. If you have patience of settings whenever you are going to use, the audio and video port work very well.

I bought this thinking it would be better than the $35 version I had. This device is junk once it heats up. HDMI cable to the monitor stops working as soon as it heats up. Making it impossible to use as it cycles the screen every couple of seconds making it impossible to use. Normally I don't complain I just return it but since I am unable to return this paperweight I thought others should know not to buy it unless they need a $150 paperweight.

Worked fine in the beginning, but eventually had problems in which it periodically didn’t work at all. Unfortunate given the sleek design and various ports (especially with 2 HDMI) that I needed to support dual monitors. Hope you don’t get the same results if you decide to purchase.

It works, but there are some very minor display issues related to graphics rendering through the dock. I also don't like that even though I have it plugged into the wall, the USB C that interfaces with the computer doesn't charge the computer unless you plug the Apple charger in to the USB C port on the Dock... so now I have 2 power sources going to the doc... one for the dock and one for the computer... Seems odd.As for the graphics issue, on startup the graphics do not render and everything is HUGE on the screen until I log in, then it corrects itself.The other problem with graphics rendering is that the periodically the touch bar will display graphics related options related to how the displays are configured (ie. extend display or mirror)

I did a TON of research before purchasing this unit as I'm very particular about both the features and the form factor. This USB C docking station has the best features of any I found.For one, it does the best job of hiding cables because all of the input ports face away from the back of my MacBook Pro. Therefore, they can be tied down behind my external monitor and aren't even visible on the desk, unlike almost all other models which have ports on both sides, causing cables to go snaking across my desk from multiple angles.Two, this has the perfect complement of ports, including 4k HDMI (a must), Ethernet (sorely lacking from many hubs), 4 USB 3 ports (most hubs only have 2 or 3), plus USB-C, audio and the rest. It even has VGA which almost none of them have. This is the most full-featured, functional and attractive looking MacBook Pro dock at any price!Also, I've been using it now for 3 months and only had 1 glitch, which was fixed by simply unplugging the power on the dock and plugging it back in. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product!!

overall is great, just the cord is kind of short. If the cord's length is doubled or tripled. it would be perfect.

I needed to expand the ports on my MacBook Pro. Plugged the unit in; got a big spark. Plugged a Thunderbolt monitor into the Mini DP port. Received an error that the port would not accept the Thunderbolt video signal. When the MacBook sleeps, then wakes up, the network port stays asleep, so no Internet. Tried emailing their support; no answer. Save yourself the money and hassle and find yourself another product.

Initially I thought I had a great product - easy to set up, multiple ports, extended display, etc.. Less than 3 months later, I'm left with a temperamental piece of equipment that I can't return (requires restarts, downloading drivers etc.). Disappointment topped off by loss of productivity, double whammy, trust me, you can do better!
