Sports Party - Nintendo Switch Standard Edition

Love this game on my Switch.

This is the kind of video game I like to play so we got it for our boys for Christmas with their new system. They had a list of games they wanted (super smash, zelda, mario kart) but we thought this would be good to play as a family. We played it and they liked it, but they wanted to hurry back to their other games. I enjoy it though - it has a good variety of things to do, and you can challenge yourself by getting better/faster each time. Overall it's a good game - just not what my 6 & 8 year old were looking for so not played a ton in our house.

I wanted a sports game that worked well with motion sensing this game is close to what I was looking for.

Nintendo Switch game is excellent. The sports party game allows you to either use your joy con for motion controls like the wii remote for most game modes or use a joy con as a simple video game controller.

Sports Party is an incredibly simplistic party game title that tries to sell itself on the allure of being a full, fleshed-out sports game multicart (think of the old quattro four-in-ones for the NES).In reality you are getting the bare bones of a handful of different sports (like basketball, which is a one sided blowout over the AI every time because it is incredibly easy to steal). The ultimate end goal is to collect some medals through various challenges (think achievements) and grind a bit to unlock all the customization elements for your characters. None of it is especially difficult to do, just a bit tedious and monotonous.You may find some fun if you find another player willing to play. Bump the difficulty up a notch and games like beach tennis and frisbee are actually interesting vs the AI as well.In all honesty, this should have been no more than $20. Its a quick party themed cash-in for Ubisoft. Even if you set out to unlock everything, you wouldnt have more than 8-10 hours of a very repetitive grind here. Its quite average, not broken, but nothing special. The achievements (medals) give you a reason to slog through and it is fun to try to break some of your own high scores in a few of the events, since you will mostly find that the AI simply doesnt show up. I cant really recommend a buy though.

Not the highest quality, but it's fun games to play with the family.

What can I say this game is fun, love playing it with others

My 7 year old loves the game. Some harder than others. B-ball is kind of ridiculous. 3 point contest he hit 25 straight.
