Do Not Buy This Product
I'd like to thank the manufacturer for ruining my brand new Louis Vuitton bag! I bought this notebook to not have to carry a larger bulkier portfolio, and one week later the damage to my bag is irreversible. I am deeply disappointed in this product and STRONGLY advise to avoid it. The ink/stain will ruin whatever it comes in contact with.

Boss’s Favorite Book
My boss is a Moleskine fan. He greatly relys on these notebooks for his note taking while on work projects. For his birthday, I decided to get him a new notebook in this beautiful green color. It was the exact same Moleskine as his previous books.

Date, Title, Write and Annotate Effectively
This is a fine notebook perfectly sized for small courier bags - yet, imho too small for classroom note taking. If you have never used the Cornell University note taking method, then I believe you will be surprised to find that this notebook is a true organizational aid by making sure you date, title, write and annotate your thoughts.

Paper is ridiculously thin
So I read the reviews that said the paper was thin, but I didn't believe it. The reviews are correct. I'm not usually a review person and this is my first review on Amazon I believe. But I "write" this review to warn anybody who would like to use both sides of the paper, you will not be able to. I used 9 different pens (I circled the dashes in the picture to indicate when I switched to a different one). All of which were varying writing points and line thickness and all of them bled through the paper. I don't know if I'm supposed to mention other brands on these, so I'll just say 2 of the pens, both from different brands, are marketed SPECIFICALLY for not bleeding through paper. I don't care and I'm not mad about it, but if I were worried about spending this kind of money for a notebook then I would be. Positives: 1) the binding is sturdy, that is genuine- especially if you can only use 1 side of the paper, that's half the wear and tear it will go through 2) the beginning pages have useful information on things such as measurement conversions and time zone changes with a map - so if Google ever breaks down and I can't find my encyclopedia set from 1982, then I will have a good reference to use 3) I can use the 4 perforated pages still to make shopping lists? Assuming I go to an actual store to do shopping instead of buying stuff I need from Amazon - it could happen? 4) the cover is hard and it makes a good fly swatter, I just tried it out while reviewing. No flies were hurt in the process of writing the review, but the fly did seem genuinely afraid and flew away.So in summary: 1 star for durability given the paper limitations and the whole point of buying a notebook is for the paper -- 3 stars for sturdiness because it seems to have good potential for warding off insects -- 1 star for value because although the upside of dual purpose fly swatter, I could use most any book for such purposes and it would be substantially cheaper

70 gsm paper is too thin
When I needed a new notebook, I was looking to upgrade from the basic Moleskine, as the paper is too thin. For example, it is possible to fully read text (pen or pencil) through a blank sheet on top. This amount of transparency makes it annoying to use both sides of the paper. My preferred pen is the Pilot V5, and while the ink doesn't bleed all the way through, it is clearly visible. I just don't know why Moleskine no longer offers an option for thicker paper.Looking at the product comparison chart, the Pro series is identified as having 100 gsm paper. I relied on this, but realized too late that the actual product description identifies the paper as 70 gsm. Thus, I returned the notebook. I'm now using a 100 gsm notebook from Minimalism Art, which is also significantly cheaper. You can still see through the paper somewhat, but noticeably less.

Fantastic organization tool!
I’ve had many of these. I used them to chronicle personal items and keep track of professional items. They are perfect for taking and keep track of notes and ‘to do’ lists. In fact, there are perforated pages for ‘to do’ lists. There are special pages for product planning. And, there are pages to create a table of contents for easily looking back on a subject.

Great for those who don't need all the random stuff in most planners
I run a medium sized dept in a shipyard and use this book for all my scheduling and daily notes. It's one of the only ones I could find that has a repeating format day after day and not allot of useless stuff I don't need. Has decent note taking space in the back as well and I just live how small and durable this thing is. Will definitely be buying another when this one runs out.

Professional old school look.
I've got a stack of these from 15 years of use at work. I use gel pens and the writing is great. Page numbers are the best feature for indexing projects.

Always the best quality from Moleskine
As always the quality of the moleskine notnooks are great. They are suitable for fineliners, fountain pens and of course ball points and pencils. They have lots of capacity to be altered and changed but for some reason you need to look elsewhere. I've tried writing to Moleskine many times with ideas to make their products more useful but they ignore them so, like a lot of people I simple glue in filofax A5 sheets for specific needs like fold out year planners.

Not as advertised!
Yes, it was a Moleskine Professional Notebook. No, it was not soft cover, it is hardback. Be careful if you order this, the description is inaccurate - I ordered the soft cover so it would be flexible enough to fit in my work bag, but it ended up in my grandchildren’s toy box instead as a result. Amazon’s descriptions (and packaging) leave something to be desired.

Hard cover (not soft as described)
This is listed and described as having a soft cover which was what I wanted. What I received was a hard cover, as shown in the pictures. It’s a gorgeous shade of green and I really couldn’t be bothered with sending it back. Seems like only black is available in the largest size after all 😔

Check the size you're buying
The different size offering was really confusing and I ended up recieving an A5 sizes version when I thought I was buying a size double that. I tried to make it work for me but no success.
