I noticed that it was mentioned “Frequently returned due to tight fit”. I didn’t let that deter me. I’m approx. 5’10” at 195 lbs. Normally, I would wear a 14L or 16L (xl) in bottoms depending on if they are a loose or tight fit.I wanted some support in the mid section & back, but not too suffocating. I sized up to a xxl & was not disappointed. I bought the in both colors & it fit perfectly right below to bra. I wore it all day. No riding up or rolling down. When I attempted to purchase another black one, the price went from $15.39 to $25.99. I‘ll wait for a sale.

Better than most
I've tried several shapewear and this is the only one I kept. It held me in a bit, smoothed me out and was relatively comfortable. The back rolled a little but I think that's inevitable with my shape and it wasn't really noticeable. A lot are too short so I still have a pooch but this one came up to the right spot.

Does as it should!
I have another Maidenform shapewear I picked up at clearance at Kohl's. I thought this one would be just like it, and it is, except this one from Amazon has that rubberized band at the top to keep it from slipping down or rolling down (“new & improved” I suppose!). And it does the trick. I’ve worn it several times, all day long, and I’ve yet to pull it up during the day (as the other one required quite often). I wear a size 16, am tall, and the top comes a hands width from my bra band. My guess is my torso is 1.5” longer than the average size. (Wish these came in Tall.) The clearance one I bought before was the only one left and was an 2XL. If I had had a choice then I would’ve chosen XL, but it fit very comfortably, slipped on and off easily and smoothed things out. This one from Amazon I got in the same size. It fits a bit more snug, but still as comfortable. The only way to have shapewear make you smaller is via photoshop! What it does, imo, is firm the area to the touch and (most important to me) hides evidence of my belly button pudge under T-shirt’s! Lol. I see ridiculous ads on Facebook showing someone that looks like a size 16 slip on the shapewear they are selling, and magically become a size six. That’s not going to happen! Where's all that flab going to go, do you think?! Lol. I have a Spanx that the sales lady measured me for and I have to squirm to slip it on. Once on it’s okay, but heaven help you if you need to get it off quickly. That is why I prefer it less tight and to go on and off more easily (realizing a size smaller won’t miraculously skinny-me-up). (BTW, maybe TMI, but I wear this over my underwear and I can then get several wears before washing on gentle cycle, hanging to dry)

Ehhh....
I'm giving this product 3 stars because it's alright. The material is nice, very stretchy, but I would still shimmy it on carefully so as not to tear any seams. I ordered a Large because my hip measurement at its fullest (mid butt) measures 41 inches. Maybe I should've ordered a size bigger than that but if I had I think the waist bit would've been far too loose and have absolutely no effect smoothing my stomach out (I measure 33 inches at my waist). I honestly thought I was going to break the garment trying to get it past my "thick" thighs but sure enough, it slid on, but not without pinching my butt cheeks and giving me horrible a VPL.Honestly, this garment is made for someone without any upper thigh fat and "some" butt. By no means do I consider myself "full figured" because I wear a size 11 pants (comfortably) and maybe a size 9 pants on good days and a Medium in nearly all tops, sometimes large in particular silhouettes. According to this size chart, I'm wearing a US size 14. Which if I did wear anything in that size, I'd be drowning in it.Shapewear sizes tend to run 1 to 2 sizes too small; think "petite Asian frame" when you look at these size charts. I'm a young 23 year old woman with a small chest, not much smaller waist, and apparently, an xtra large butt so it is so much harder to shop online versus in person at a store. Shapewear just might be one of those garments worth treading to the store to buy something that is sure to fit.So, 3 stars because the quality seems to be good and it is comfortable. 2 stars deducted because the size chart is a joke to everyone with a butt that sits low and thicker-than-sticks thighs. My advice? Just go ahead and start walking 4 miles a day and pump some squats out to tone up your butt and thighs because this item is by no means magic, nor does it claim to be. Any money you spend on shapewear is probably better spent on Beach Body's Brazil Butt Lift because THAT, paired with walking twice a day, actually makes a difference to your abs, butt, and legs. To this day, that workout program is the only one (out of like 6 I've bought into) that makes a difference within 30 days. Just saying.

Great product
Great product. Stays put, doesn't roll down and give a sleek appearance to my figure. Holds everything in place. I have this in both colors. True to size.
